Interesting accessory, indeed. But: can you overturn the need to hold the button? Does it work with the display off (i. e. to open an app from a black screen)? And can you still use the NFC for other purposes like reading a WiFi tag or pay with Google wallet? And does the MagSafe magnet affect the compass (needed for directions in maps or orient sky or summit maps in AR)?

I'm using the case myself. for NFC to work, the phone needs to be unlocked, and you really need to hold the button for a second for it to activate.
