    Great review, thanks! Looks like it uses a 2w IR DPSS like the Enjoywood M4. I see you did a test on the M4 which showed the M4 capable of extremely fine detail, with the ability to produce legible 0.15mm text. Did you do the same test on this machine? I'm interested to know how it compares to the M4 in this respect. Thanks again 🙂

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Thanks!
      It has more or less the same performance as the Enjoywood. Didn't test the small text, but I think it should be close to Enjoywood.

      @@JTMakesIt Thanks! I'm also researching the ComMarker Q2, which is 2W IR and macOS compatible, which is a must for me. Doesn't look like Lightburn are close yet to supporting the BSL machines, like the Enjoywood M4.
      Had to laugh at the somewhat macabre but comical amputated finger, with red nail polish! 😆

      @@DR-xr8so maybe also check out my video of the Commarker B4. It is a true fiber laser, lightburn compatible and much more capable. I agree that the bsl software can be somewhat limiting compared to Lightburn

    It looks amazing and your video is great but i just want to know if the machines does depth engraving, nice, clear and feels awesome or if it only does light engraving, more like etching or marking?

    • @JTMakesIt
      @JTMakesIt  Před 11 měsíci

      Thank you! Do you mean on metal? It is not really a "groove" but it can be felt when scratching with a nail, it has some texture and it takes some effort to sand off. But if you set many passes it gets a bit deeper, but don't expect 3d engravings

    Hello JT,
    Congratulations 🎊 for all you very informative videos.
    Cheers 🥂 🙌.
    May I ask your opinion...
    Now that you have quite an experience with different laser machines and using them for your business, would it be wise for me to already buy the more relatively expensive machines (xtool) to start my cutting & engraving business? Or should I start with cheap ones and upgrade later on? Would this come more expensive in the long run buying these cheap laser machine and upgrade to Xtool?
    Should I just master my skill sets with the cheaper machine and relearn the more expensive machine in the future?
    If you were to start over, what would you do?
    I have a starting capital of $10k.
    I'd like to learn from champagne glass engraving to large multilayer plywood art cutting like Mandala arts.
    Being now a retiree, I have all the time to focus and learn the trade.
    I would appreciate if you can help me decide.
    Many thanks,
    Alvin

      For that budget, I would recommend xTool P2 for laser cutting and maybe xTool F1 for bottles, although you can use P2 for bottles too. You can get a good bundle deal:
      www.xtool.com/products/ultimate-productive-business-duo?ref=8nM_J_3Zfk8s&
      Don't forget to add RA2 rotary extension for bottles.
      xTool machines are the easiest to use (especially for bottles) and are good quality.
