This is my DVC home resort and my favorite place to stay (actually, it's the only place I'll stay because it's quieter and cozier than other resorts and because I am on Emma's "Team Anxiety" it is the most ideal place). It really does feel like you're home! Great amenities, short bus waits, awesome pools, and Olivia's is low key one of the best restaurants in WDW! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! thinking about booking this for our honeymoon next year! Any tips regarding bus/shuttles to and from the parks? There's soooo much information to pick through, TIA!
Two important things; If you're like my wife and I and use a mobility scooter, keep in mind that only three buildings in the resort have elevator access. So don't forget to ask for that when discussing rooms with the resort. The other thing is that this is a BIG resort; there are 5 bus stops, and it's very easy to wind up having buses passing you by full on their way to parks or Disney Springs. Pro tip; the Peninsular road stop near the main hub and opposite the pool is the first stop--buses pull in pretty much empty.

Every other year, we travel in a large group, 10-11 people, and rent the OKW grand villa. It’s actually a bargain when split with the adults. We only book the hospitality GVs which involves having to walk a reservation. Not a fan of the food options, but it’s a quick boat ride to Disney springs
I did a split stay there years ago. I did 2 nights there and the rest at BW. Rented thru David's. I enjoyed my stay, got a room right on the road facing the pool, first bus stop coming back from the parks. To get to the parks, I just walked across the road and took the last bus stop at the main building. I could sit on my balcony in the morning and have my coffee and when I'd see the bus coming, take my time while it did its rounds and walk over to the lobby to catch it. The room was a studio and huge.
@@starrypunk20 If by site you are referring to David's, it was o.k. You do have to pay a deposit to have them look for something for you and if they don't find it, you get it back. If they do book something, they apply it. I knew I was definitely going on the dates I was going to so I wasn't worried about losing my payment after I made it. I'm not sure if I'd use them again, but only because I can rarely find a studio for rent.
