    Thank yall for watching everyone. If you are trying to search for the part, search for inner door weather stripping for your vehicle. You can find some on ebay. I went to the pick your part junkyard. $10.

      where can I buy the weather stripping for a 2010 scion xb, I keep researching for it and I keep getting results for the outter weather stripping which I do not need. This is driving me crazy I need to replace it on the windows, please help.

      @@gemmaestradamora7086 I feel your pain. You can look on ebay for the inner door weather stripping or go a junkyard and find the same car or something similar. i used one from a Camry and had to cut down to the right length but it works. Try an auto parts store and see if they can help you by at least getting you a part number. You could even try a dealership. Hope this helps. Good luck. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day🙏😁

      Great if you have a jun yard near by that will let you dismantle 4 door interiors. Never thought a part could be so hard to find. 1000's of exteriors, 3 interiors all OEM for about $50 each.

    I had this going on with my Toyota Sienna after getting some sap on it while camping. Cleaned it with alcohol, dish soap, WD-40, and anything else I could think of. I ended up using some silicone lubricant and the window is rolling up and down again just like before.

    • @FunkyColdMedinaDIY
      @FunkyColdMedinaDIY  Před 11 měsíci

      That’s excellent. I tried the silicone but it would for a little bit but go back to rolling up on itself. If you have tint, it will eventually peel it off which happened to this vehicle. Sometimes you get lucky like in your case. I much rather have that solution🤣Thank you for your comment and for watching. Have a blessed day😁😎✌️

    Can you spray the white lithium grease directly at the weather strip? My car's outer weather strip is the one catching. The felt is still there from what I can tell, it's just rougher feeling. I'm wondering if the grease can help prevent me from replacing the strip.

    • @FunkyColdMedinaDIY
      @FunkyColdMedinaDIY  Před rokem +1

      Great question. Absolutely Camster. Give it a shot to see if it works. I have tried it before but it does leave a light film on the window from the grease. If I had to so all over again, I would try a Dry lubricant. Liquid wrench, WD40 and Blaster all have a dry or quick drying lubricant that wont leave any residue but still lubricate. Thats what I would do. Let me know if you have any more questions. Have a blessed day and thank you for the comment😁😎✌️.

      If its in good condition and clean, then yes you can. If you want to do it right, then I would remove the old tint. Use a hair dryer and some soapy water with a razor blade to remove the old glue. Its a little more work but its worth it. If it doesn’t look right installing over the old tint then just peel off the static cling tint and remove the old tint. Great question. Thank you for watching and have a blessed day🙏😁
