- this is me showing you if I can do this for myself and not relie on someone else to do it for me and save money and feel better about doing it myself tire #1
Yes. Im 69yo and on Soc Sec and just need to learn to do that myself too, as the costs of everythingi s so blasted oppressive now.
That was a long ride on the struggle bus 😂
I saw one video where guy bolted it to 3/4" 4' x 5' plywood. That is what i will need to do, as i have no garage at all, and will need to do outside. I just bought mine last Thurs, at Harbor Fr for $60. Thanks for the video. It would be best to use soapy water breaking bead, too. It must feel great to do it right the first time!!
Spray soapy water all the way around the bead. Sometimes you have to hold the bead breaker down and jump up and down on the tire near the bead breaker. You definitely need to work on the attachment to your platform. Cable Ties are not the way to anchor the tire changer.
Thank you for stopping and watching my channel I know I am not a professional in what I'm doing but I am happy knowing I'm trying to learn to do it for myself and not always have to rely on a professional, and in the end I am happy with all my hard work DIY
Man I dread this job,but I guess it works better mounted on something! Good job✔️💯👏🏽
Thanks 👍
Making an easy job difficult! Bolt the machine down, keep the bead press as close to the rim as possible, go left when spinning the tire on and off, use lube, and position the tire correctly in the wheel slot... Not bad for your first time though 😊
Thanks for the tips! I will be using it as much as I can to save money and to also feel better about myself knowing I did it myself , thank you for stopping and watching my channel 🙏
You need a lot of soapy water all over that tire front and back when you’re breaking the bead
Did you buy the bubble balancer? Or are you useing balance beads or do you just not care and let it go unbalanced? Or paying them to balance?
Hi thank you for stopping and watching, yes I did get the bubble balancer, but I did not record any video on doing it myself
Read the instructions.
This video just proves why you pay for this job.
He seems happy not to pay. It only gets easier for the next and so on.
Definitely. I have a tire shop near me that only charges $15 per tire, includes dismount old, mount new and balance. Totally worth it.
The guy explained his justification for wanting to do it himself, he got it done, and in the end was excited to do the next tire. This video only proves why YOU pay for it.
I bet your wishing you just oaid $10 for your tire shop to mount that tire
Hi, yes at first I went to the new and used tire shop and they all wanted on the low end $25. and high end $35. Each tire to mount and balance my online tires I thought no I will lern to do it myself and save that money, so this is me learning to DIY , thank you for stopping and watching my channel 🙏
@@Neily-Squilly-TV well I can't blame you. That's pretty pricy! I personally have the same machine, well the older red version. And I have been doing my own as well. I paid $10 for the longest time but the last year they went to $15.
Good job doing it on your own!
$10 is 1980 prices
