Bentonville Bike Fest 2024 - Stuck in a Tornado

- I drove for three 3 days straight to make it to one of my favorite Bike Festivals of the year. This Festival seriously has something for everyone. I love seeing how many families come to visit Bentonville too, it has trails for all different skill levels. The festival itself is a very fun one with lots of great brands. I was most excited to bring my Porsche E bike, I knew these trails would be perfect for this place. This e bike has been an absolute blast of a bike! Unfortunately, on the last day we got hit with a crazy Tornado I am so glad that we were all safe and many of the other people were too. We all tried to help as much as we could to clean up but Lots of damage and down trees affected the trails. The community of Bentonville have all been working hard to get things back to normal. Love this place, can't wait to be back.

So glad you guys survived the storms. I was leaving Florida for my first trip to Bentonville Sunday when I found out about the tornados. Oh, how do you like the new E-bike. I've been hoping you'd do more emtb action! Thanks for all of the great things you do for our hobby!

We ate at The Buttered Bisquit Sunday morning. I tipped extra as they were understaffed due to the tornados and obviously crazy busy. Love that place! We made it through storm and I actually watched it the whole time. Was scary and crazy. Sad our trip got cut short as we had until Wednesday. Was a pleasure meeting you and MTB Alan Saturday afternoon. Love your joy of riding and exuberance! I told you that to spite the You Tube you guys were on where you read your bad comments. I like how loud you are and infectious laugh :)
So glad you are safe. I actually hit the road home at midnight. My phone alarm went off and I left. Bentonville will be back ❤

Worst was North part of downtown. Glad yall didn’t get blasted away. We h g it hail damage. You didn’t! Surprised more Bike Fest attendees didn’t get hurt.

As a native German speaker I can tell you that your pronunciation of Porsche is right. Rotwild is the German word for red deer (rot=red and Wild=deer)
This bike is too cool. Congrats! Easy way to remember how to pronounce Porsche (por-shuh) is to think of the line from the old song: “my friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends.” By Janis Joplin, titled Mercedes Benz. Any time someone says it’s not pronounced por-shuh I remind them of this song haha.

It would be great to hear a bit more about your eMTB (FWIW, "porsh-a" is how the family says their name - as you did in the vid) - I love the fact that you were breathing hard when riding it - so many think e-bikes aren't a workout. Glad you and the crew are safe - crazy weather!

The Porsche bike is not impressive at all , to say the least. Giant has much better bikes, and I mention that because you ride for Liv. All the components on the Porsche bike look very outdated for an expensive bike, and besides that, the bike is not eye-catching either.
Giant it’s mass produced bike and each time I see giants on the trails it reminds of an entry level. Even though you’ve thrown in high end components. Still giants.
