Project for Capacity Development for Management of Kabul City Road Improvement（八千代エンジニヤリング 三宅氏）

アフガニスタンの首都カブール市では、長年の戦火によってインフラ施設およびその管理を担う組織・人材も壊滅的な状態となる一方で交通量が急増した結果、慢性的な交通渋滞が発生していました。本プロジェクトは、道路事業に係る計画・設計・調達・施工監理・維持管理について、カブール市役所への技術移転を行ったものです。治安上の懸念から日本人は現地へ渡航できない中で、本邦・第三国・オンラインにて研修を実施しました。
Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, has been suffering from chronic traffic congestion due to the rapid increase of traffic while infrastructure facilities and the organizations & human resources responsible for their operation & maintenance have been devastated through years of warfare. In order to improve the situation, this project provided capacity development to Kabul Municipality on planning, design, procurement, construction supervision, and maintenance of road projects. Since Japanese experts were not allowed to visit Kabul due to security concerns, training was conducted in Japan, in third countries, and online.
