The lower/nearer the wing is with regards to the ground, the more pronounced the ground effect becomes. With such very low wing, ground effect must be tremendous on this airplane. Floating way down the runway could be a problem at a shorter field. For Zeus's sake, get a camera stand if you want to make videos.

Ehm, most twin boxers are 180 degree fire interval engines. And engine sounds is not just exhaust, the air inlet has more influence. No filters, type of filters, a huge airbox for smoothening the aur flow, or no airbox at all, well, you hear it and you like it. Why do you say VW and not BMW?
Nice, needing to fly inverted each time you want to watch down. Or does he fly 30 feet high only? Weird design. Wings are optimized for drag. Huge tip vortices. Why?! Though safe, he has a lot of sturdy metal under his bums, when he hits the tarmac.
@@kkteutsch6416 The answer is bloody simple. Buy a tiny Rutan canard. Those planes are three times faster, they fly like a F-16 Falcon, and you will be an extremely proud owner. Ever flewn such a wonderful aircraft? That designer is a genius. He really is. Traditional thinking is usually good for you, but these Rutan EZ planes are one of the few exceptions. A canard has no tail drag, it has nose lift. That means drag is minimal, that means you fly twice the normal range and you do it at a cruising airspeed of a Beech Bonanza. Got that copied? Do you really understand? Let go of your low expectations, reality is the exact opposite. It is as good as they tell you. There is no hidden drawback. It is okay to be NOT conservative for one day. Do that EZ conversion training. And buy that EZ!

It' not easy to maintain the camera fixed on object when you are using high zoom rates and without a tripod...
So next time do it right or not at all. Tripods are cheap!

This engine is only half of a VW. Literally a cut in half VW engine. I watched my father build one of these, including all his own engine work.
