    easiest way is to save the picture from the website you buy it from. I use polyvore to save all my clothes and create outfits, I've done it for two years now so I have most of my wardrobe items saved. Its the easiest way and quicker than this

    This is probably weird, but every time I shoot items to put on my DePop I think about the tips you gave in this video and for real it makes the pictures a thousand times better. They sell so much faster, I guess people are more inclined to buy items with better pictures even if they are more expensive or not exactly what they were looking for.

    • @wonderwardrobe
      @wonderwardrobe  Před 7 lety +5

      Yes, you're right. You can easily use these to make better pictures for your shop on depot or eBay

    • @gittevandevelde2208
      @gittevandevelde2208 Před 5 lety +2

      Yes, nothing can ruin something like a bad picture. Whenever I look on sites like depop I can't stop thinking: 'make proper pictures that do it justice and I would buy it!" because in bad lighting, wrinkly and not whole even the prettiest things can look like a cheap mess.

    Hi Daria!
    I think it's an amazing idea and you have for sure inspired me alot!
    I am a student photography from Belgium and I recently got the assignment to make a fashion shoot. This 'should' include lifestyle imagery that seduces the viewers to want to purchase the clothing. Since I'm really opposed to the constant purchasing of new poorly-made clothing and the fact that the fashion-industry is the second most polluting, I've been searching alternative ways to complete my assigment. I know now that I will for sure include a style guide of my own clothing. (which is very little pieces)
    Thanks alot!

    • @wonderwardrobe
      @wonderwardrobe  Před 7 lety +8

    I've thought about doing this kind if thing with apps or on my computer but this seems a little easier since you used word. The making everything transparent part sounds very tedious but taking pictures sounds tedious, too. So if I do it I'll just go for all or nothing lol. Thanks so much!

    • @wonderwardrobe
      @wonderwardrobe  Před 7 lety +5

      You don't have to photograph your entire wardrobe, you can just choose 10-15 items for the first guide. Then in couple of months make another guide, using different clothes. You can use Stylebook app and skip all the editing, or you can use Word, Keynote and Powerpoint to easily remove the background.

    • @4Recreation
      @4Recreation Před 5 lety

      Yes, I think Daria meant for to recommend doing this like once for every season or every 12 weeks or so. (Less over whelming if you do them by season. I’m going to start with winter. Any suggestion on how to get all the photos in quickly would be much appreciated!, thanks for this!
