I have a question about she/they pronouns, I’m not trying to be rude here and I apologise if it comes across that way. When Halsey was angry at a writer in an article who didn’t use correct pronouns and only used “she”, but Halsey goes by she/they, why was she angry? Is it because the person only used “she” the entire time and not “they?”

@@eilyk1180 If a person identifies by a set of pronouns, they are meant to be respected, whereas the article completely ignored her 'they' pronouns, and just identified her with 'she', which was rude and unfair, as Halsey recently came out with those pronouns, and not so long after, a article completely ignores they're pronouns, which was extremely unfair on Halsey. So yes, they used "she" the whole entire time, and not once used "they" pronouns.

@@eilyk1180 yeah, most likely. if someone uses she/they, they probably want you to use both sets of pronouns. they (in my experience) also will appreciate if you use the less common one, if that makes sense. because strangers, most people who don't know them personally, etc, all keep on calling that person "she" and it would feel good to have someone finally use "they" so that both aspects of the person are recognized, almost.
obviously, it will vary from person to person though, some people who use multiple sets of pronouns don't care if you just choose one to refer to them consistently.
