Okay, so spring has sort of already sprung, but this song just makes me want to drink some hot chocolate, throw on a scarf, and go shovel snow. At least, it would if I didn't live in Phoenix :P I went for a slightly more subdued performance of the song here, including a few subtle chord alterations for a more reflective feel. I hope you enjoy my take on that most catchy of pony songs.
Btw... I would really like to offer downloads of this, but I haven't been able to secure the rights yet through either Harry Fox or Hasbro. I have an email out to both, and I'm still awaiting a response. In case you're curious (or bored), there's a good discussion of applicable copyright law below (the more you know!)

At first I was like "Oh, it's a cover." I was about to go back to the search screen. Then I heard the chorus, and I was snared. That was beautiful!
Man you can just hear the song explode with fullness (for lack of better adjective) when that base comes in during the 2nd Winter Wrap Up Chorus. I LOVE IT! 8)

You hit it right on the head... he really does not want to be famous, he just wants to make great music and if he becomes famous in the meantime, so be it. I think if the right people hear what he can do, he will have difficult (but fun) choices in the future.

This song will always have some special place in my heart, because it was actually THE thing that made me to look on MLP as more than just something to kill time before I got bored with it.
You see when I've seen show on net I just thought it is not worst but nothing special, then came this episode and this song and I literary gathered my jaw from floor. I've never expected something like this in children show

I usually don't recognize many brony musicians by name until I have more than a few of their songs in my pony playlist, but between this and The Moon Rises, holy shit, I am watching everything you put out like a hawk. This is beautiful music, and I can only hope you make more, because it's easily some of the best pony-related music, even with the years worth of music that's out there already.

Normally I'm not a big fan of guys singing a song that's obviously meant for female vocals. But this cover is awesome, probably the best MLP cover I've heard yet.

There are quite a few insults that do have their points.
I mean, yes, the show has children as their intended audience, especially little girls.
And we like it. We like colorful, big-eyed ponies that happily hop around and deal with problems like "Who gets my spare ticket?" for entire episodes.
But one thing is undeniable:
We are the most creative, caring and talented fandom EVER.
Always keep that in mind when you discard shows before watching an episode of it.

As soon as I saw people talking about X... I wasn't sure if they were talking about the same X I watched back when I was just getting into Minecraft.. Turns out it was. Makes me happy when old interests are mixed with new :).

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Very gentle and subtle, which does wonders for this song. It also doesn't feel like you're trying too hard like I feel some covers do; you're treating the song with tenderness and love which makes the whole thing all the sweeter.

This video is encoded with the .WebM video codec. The audio has been encoded to the Ogg Vorbis format, with a 192kbps bit rate. Assuming he uploaded the audio file from a lossless format, this video is truly playing at CZcams's maximum sound capabilities. So long as you listen to the video in 720P. 192kbps is the highest bit rate CZcams outputs at. This guy has so much talent! (Actually more talent than many artists who are producing Mp3's and CD's from the major record companies.)
