Awesome! I'll have to go check those out. I'm not great at reaching out and meeting new people. 😅
No problem! The communities are really friendly and welcoming - hope you find one that works for you!
Noice! I watch your videos(some of them)
You can reach out to me whenever you like... no I'm not stalking you... XD
Dude, I fucking hate social media. Especially if it's someone I don't already know.
Thank you!!! I'm an indie dev but I have never heard of a lot of these communities. This is so great that you guys share this kind of content. It is so helpful!
I really like these videos. I find it interesting yo see game dev journeys and what they did to get where they are and other stuff like that on this channel.
Thanks
This was really helpful, Thank you
This is awesome! I will definitely be checking out these communities 🤙🏻
This was pretty helpful thanks
This is an amazing collection. Thank you sharing this.
Thanks for this video!!
Did you know that Notch showed off Minecraft in TIGSource?
Thanks - this is a super helpful list!
These videos are excellent, I'm starting out and now I have some really good tools to use.
Very helpful, again. Thanks!
Awesome video as always! Those are some really good sites to check out for help and giving help. I already use reddit but I should expand to the others. Thank you for the info. Keep it up! :)
Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoy exploring the rest of the communities!
By the way, just because gamedev dot stackexchange is for game development, it does not mean that programming questions related to game development must be there, or are not welcome on stackoverflow. With that said, gamedev will take question about game development which are not related to programming (and thus not welcome in stackoverflow), including but not limited to game design. Also, know that just because a tag is not among the most popular ones, it does not mean there isn't people willing to answer it.
Thanks for the tip!
r/gamedev is such a nice subreddit, lately I've been more active and there're just so many helpful posts and people you can find on there
Totally agree!
have you ever felt alone...
yes!
...as a game developer
oh... :-(
Worked! What an absolute genius mad lad! Was so easy
A very underrated community new solo devs should check out is Indie Game Academy. They have classes on how to start your own indie studio!
Thanks for sharing! We'll check them out!
All cool and stuff but the problem is me not being good in communicating with people and socializing in any way. But gotta try anyway because I need to build a community for a game I am planning to build. Good luck to everyone.
Get someone as a 'community manager' to do that side of things while you focus on building the game.
I tried joining the Indie Game Developers IGD group and it seems like you can't post until they allow it. I joined at the time this video went up and still no option to post. Not sure if there's a waiting period or approval from an admin needed but unfortunately there's no one to ask cause you can't direct message anyone. What a bummer.
Hey! How about making a video about games that was made with RUST programming language? It would be pretty cool.
Hello!
I wanted help as in I'm confused that what should I learn first the language or game engine
Game engine "Godot"
Game language "python" I know "GDScript" is specifically for Godot but I went with the flexible language in my opinion
The biggest issue with Reddit is the downvote trigger-happy community. They don't only downvote things that are disagreeable. They also downvote things trivial. If you designed a character with a red hat but a Redditor thought it would look better blue,....instant downvote. Now I understand why most social media apps removed dislikes.
CZcams still has "dislike" but the numbers are hidden from public
Hello, big fan here, nice video as always! But, please may you remove the need for a phone number? I don't have one...
Stack Overflow sucks ngl but the rest are a masterpiece
That comment is a duplicate, so i will close that now.
