    When my wife prepares meals, I taste it and she looks at me wanting to know how I like it. If its good I tell her, if its under or over cooked, too salty, or not good, I tell her. There is a difference between constant complaining vs helpful advice to make improvements. If we are not encouraging others to be even better next time, then keep it to yourself(comment board). Pastor Doug made a good point today.(32:44-33:28) I mostly want to tell my wife that she did well. I believe we confess our sins to God to have a heart reverent unto God, that He is good, and we are not. I believe we should pray for our brethren to overcome selfishness. When we are repentant to God acknowledging our evil ways and Gods goodness, it is good. When we love others as ourselves and want mercy for others as we do ourselves it is good in Gods sight.

    I love watching your programs! My question is this, why is it that during the Sabbath school lesson no one goes over the questions in the lessons or the comments at the bottom of the page. Seems everyone teaches way outside the perimeters of the lesson. I understand your knowledge is vast but it seems each week I study the lesson then watch it here it is 2 separate lessons.

      Whats wrong with the ornement? And how is it distracting?

    • @MSB780
      @MSB780 Před 3 lety

      @@ConnorLindeman it’s ugly, and it shakes when Doug moves, and it’s just really ugly. A small bow would look better than a huge ornament. Apparently the decorator just likes big things.
      I was just giving my personal opinion it’s nothing that I’m gonna report to the conference, or anything. It was just an observation, so I decided to be sociable about it.
      Doug makes me laugh a lot in his sermons. I guess I’m just not really good with social media, but it’s all I got!

    So sad SDA doesn't believe in choirs - real people too - one drawback of SDA. Music not very important I guess. Too much negativity in SDA churches. And Christians would use Lottery money wisely as long as they are blessed with wisdom. Some people have had it handed down to them. More negativity - wow.

    Romans 3:26-28 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? By the law of works? Nay, but by the law of faith, Therefore we conclude a man is justiified by faith, apart from the deeds of the law.
    Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him who justifieth the ungodly, sinners, his faith is counted for righteousness. We have to be a righteous as God to go to heaven, and no one is.
    Romans 4:6-8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord imputeth righteousness apart from works. Blessed is the man whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
    John 3:18 Since Jesus paid our sin debt in full, past, present, and future sins we have not even thought of yet, we have eternal life by faith alone in Jesus finished work on the cross alone apart from our works which can not save sinners.
    Ephesians 1:13-14 Our guarantee of eternal life. Ephesians 4:30 John 6:47 Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it.

    Such a shame that you guys are going along with this whole christmas nonsense, with all the decorations..your trees and pinecones..all coming from ancient pagan cults, festivals and practices.
    Same goes for 3abn and probably others.
    For easter (ishtar), don't forget the eggs and bunnies (symbols of fertility just like pinecones) so we can make everyone happy. 😕

  • @brendalysegarra2523
    @brendalysegarra2523 Před 3 lety +2

    I love the teachings but the fact that they decorated with Christmas and knowing this is a pagan holiday makes me unhappy and unease your following the man made holidays and idolizing Christmas not sure if this is a good religion to follow. I think I'm going to keep searching 🤔

    • @daveotieno1
      @daveotieno1 Před 3 lety +2

      While I agree with you saying that Christmas is a pagan holiday the focus should be more on Jesus the precious gift and sharing the good news.. Ellen White mentions that the Christmas tree is there for offerings to be placed upon and terms of giving. Read about it in The Adventist Home Pg.482

    • @gloriadominguez7237
      @gloriadominguez7237 Před 3 lety +3

      This church (sda) is the about the only church that follows the Bible completely. Just because there is some decoration doesn't mean they are following the pagan holiday

    • @DennisBolanos
      @DennisBolanos Před 3 lety +2

      The claim that Christmas is a pagan holiday is a classic example of the genetic fallacy - even if we assumed that Christmas _used to be_ a pagan holiday. Christmas has not been a pagan holiday for many centuries, and might never have been. Christmas is whatever it means _now_ , not what it allegedly meant 1600 years ago.

    • @stewiefy
