      @BrokeLifeEU Why not put all footage up for people to decide as it was vclise on all, also what part of the world are you in as you give prices in euros and pounds@@BrokeLifeEU

      @@paulcarter5337 Because it would not be entertaining or easy to watch. I picked the fastest run for each setting and screw. This is the best case scenario by which to judge. However even in their worst runs they are not that far apart. Also bear in mind I am puttins screws in wood so there may be irregularities in the material. I try to select runs in which I feel the material was the same throughout the section the screw goes through. As for pricing, I decided to say the price in the currency I paid in. I hope that helps. I buy the tools throughout Europe. I hope that helps in understanding my reasoning.

    Next level in recording and post production. Very good vid easy to follow.
    I see that replacing single cell in battery pack wouldn't be possible very soon like in laptop batteries. Or will require reprogramming of bms which is expensive to almost impossible.

      @BrokeLifeEU  Před 2 měsíci +1

      You are too kind! Thank you so much! I hope it was an interesting video. I still don‘t have a spot welder to give changing the cells a go but as soon as I can afford a decent one I am thinking of purchasing one. I already have couple of batteries that need some cells replaced and I also have a couple of other projects in the pipeline that will need custom batteries.

Gx working fine except i shortcut it because it is really tight in design and not so comfortable but i fixed it same day replacing one shotky diode. It is probably under $10 now. Same here with projects.

    Something to think about, 4Ah battery delivers 50A at best in theory but this tool can draw over that, I've seen it personally so the battery can be great equalizer in this test, for this reason I've bought 8Ah and 100A battery.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Solid point, however I made the video with 4Ah batteries due to the fact that they are more widely available and I think the tool is easier to handle with the 4Ah for most people. The 8Ah is just a bit too heavy for prolonged use on this. All that said it does deliver more peak power to the tool, however from what I saw I still don't think there will be a significant difference between Mode 4 and EXPERT mode. Maybe a slight difference but not a life changing one. I personally like the 4Ah smart battery for this tool, because it feels balanced. With the 8Ah it is very bottom heavy and difficult to manoeuvre.

    Hi, thanks for the great comparison!
    One question - what about the bit mount in B3 vs C3? Looks a bit different. Was the mount longetivity and functionality improved in C3?
    I've watched several videos complaining about a bit holder and oil leaks in B3

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Před měsícem

      I have not hand any issues with either. Regarding the B3 I have had like 4 in the past year and never an issue. Maybe if the casing is overfilled with grease then it will come out of places, however I have had no issues with the B3 or the C3.

      @memutu Před 2 měsíci

      And I noticed that the expert mode on my b3 increases the speed a little bit but I would not recommend it, it has a lot of power as it is.

      @BrokeLifeEU  Před 2 měsíci +1

      😂 I hope I did not disappoint! No need to baby the B3 I think it can take a beating! My first B3 is alive and well! Maybe over a year old and I convertes it to 1/2” shortly after I got it. So it has been used on nuts and bolts 120Nm and above all its life. No issues at all!

      @BrokeLifeEU  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Expert mode on the B3? There is no expert mode on either of my B3s and I did check as I was making the video. Has there been an update that I failed to download or something?

    I have the feeling that the anvil in c3 is lighter than in b3, hence with easy screws, it finished sooner

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Před 2 měsíci

      To me it is because of the structure of the wood. No two screws can go in exactly in the same sort of density of wood. Hence the minute differences. Regarding the anvil, they use an identical 1/4" anvil, spring, metal ball, o rings and all.

  • @user-og7dd4ej1p
    @user-og7dd4ej1p Před 2 měsíci +1

    Why don't you run B3 on expert mode to see if it can be more stronger than it is too?

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Před 2 měsíci

      The B3 does not have a dedicated EXPERT mode.

  • @user-du6op6qx5s
    @user-du6op6qx5s Před 2 měsíci +1

    It is powerfull the expert mode on the c3. So it was a litlle slower in the main speeds by design not by using cheaper structure.

    • @BrokeLifeEU
      @BrokeLifeEU  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I think they were not so sure it would last. That is why they held it back a bit. I am not convinced the EXPERT mode does add power, but even if it does the fact that it is buried deep in the app means to me that they are not 100% sure it will hold up to a higher power output.

    • @user-du6op6qx5s
      @user-du6op6qx5s Před 2 měsíci +1

      @BrokeLifeEU I really saw in your video that the expert mode did better in most tests. In some tests it stalled a little mainly because the wood also turned with the tool. But still the b3 version remains the best. Let's hope the d4 version will be like the d5 version of the sabersaw. Expert mode needs the 8ah battery
