Yeah, you have converted me and my partner to statics. Since watching your review, we've been to Rockley Park twice, Patrington Haven twice, and Marton Mere. In July we go to the Isle of Wight to also stay in a static. We love your channel and look forward to watching your journey every week. Had caravan holidays at inholdmells every year when we were kids. Had Haven Skegness last 2 years for only 3 night with family, 😊. Hope you've had a good time on yours with no uninvited guests lol 😮 x
Yes, love a caravan holiday, most of my holidays are caravan holidays but usually have to go for the standard models as can’t afford the luxury ones 😂

My Mum and Dad were in the caravan next door, came home today and said they were next to a famous CZcamsr. Apparently my brother in law disturbed you while you were filming according to my Mum… sorry about him, can’t take him anywhere! Great video as always 👍
@@jackwatsonepic626 Me too mate. Big fan of this channel and Gabby’s would’ve picked my moment though to say hello respectfully as would have been scared. My parents said a famous CZcamsr filming the park, I’m thinking “no chance.” They said his partner was with him and they had a little boy. I’m thinking still a long shot, then Mum says “think his name was Tim”. And I’m like holy fudge, what’s the chance of that! Would’ve loved to have got a pic.

@@WalkWithMeTim definitely didn’t annoy them mate. My Dad was confused by the camera on the stick (he’s nearly 70) I’d say more fascinated by what was going on. I explained it and he just watched the video and made sense to him. Think you got a new fan 🤣

My husband and I watched this video of Haven at Kent Coast & thought it looked lovely being on the front. A week later, we booked a 4 night break for us & our 2 children. We are here right now & the weather is gorgeous. Thanks, Tim, Gabby & Casper

From what I understand, because it’s a holiday park, you can’t live there permanently.

@@chriggle1 Ive worked on alot of parks. Most its somthing like 360 days a year you can live there. some its more like 3 or 4 weeks you need to be gone for. The big problem is its a over priced as fuck. Van like in the video could easily be £150,000 + than you need to pay all the maintenance fees, rental fees , park fees etc, decking would be another £15,000 tp £20,000 than after 5 to 10 years they would make you but a new van, which of course they will part exchange the old one for a fraction of the price and sell for prfoit.
Casper being caught on camera slowly pushing the chair to enable his escape was funny. He's a secret genius. Did also find it funny that the restaurant wasn't open because the internet was down so they couldn't take payments. Oh how we'll all miss using cash...

Haven has definitely upped their game since last time I visited one of their parks. Haggerston Castle was the Haven I visited back as a child and had many fond memories there with my belated grandparents. You and Gaby are hilarious together and it's one of the reasons why these particular videos are my favourite to watch. Please don't ever change! 😊
The view is the best. Waking up to the sound of the waves. Certainly worthwhile for a family vacation.
Casper clearly has a knack for exterior design 🤣 Making a fuss as Gabby talks about relaxation, and then bumbling around in the back when the sun is setting hahah. Great comedic timing! As American's it's quite interesting to see these referred to as a holiday/vacation destination. They're quite different on this side of the pond. Scale by people capacity is back 😁 Looks like a nice place to spend the weekend. Nice that Casper's helping with the feng shui. Looks like there's lots of things for families to do and the property looks really well kept.
Yeah these are generally for people that can’t afford a holiday abroad. They are mainly aimed at children, but they can be charming and a nice getaway for the parents! I used to love these places as a child, however the thought of visiting one as an adult now is rather depressing haha

@@GrumpyWolfTech Over here they are holiday parks and residential parks which is mainly old people. I actually have worked multiple jobs in the industry here. They can actually more expensive than buying a house. I fitted decking on one that was listed to be sold for £400,000. It was a beautiful van with amazing views. But still your basiclly paying 400,000 for a caravan and a lease to pay £1000s every year for the plot. as you dont own the land and have all these fees on top.
You also do get the more trailer park low income ones tho. I know a place that is all the old shitty small ones, rusted out abandoned cars, over grown bushes everywhere.

yes I totally agree. Just been to Brean Sands for a week, weather was good. you can also go to Burnham On Sea 15 mins on the bus, great place. Also Weston Super Mare ( havent been there on the bus yet) probably too busy for me anyway. but Brean is just great . caravan was lovely and so spacious . will be going again soon in the same caravan as I am now a member with them 😊
@rosiew1952 You sound like you're from Bristol? That's where I'm from and always used to go to Weston and Brean when I was a kid. Devon Cliffs is good too!

Growing up, we had a camper trailer. We would camp at the beach. We had tv, air con and full bath. It was great.
I would stay at Haven if I am in the UK 🇬🇧

Tim manages to blow up the whole house and vows never to wonder 'what does this button do' ever again and then try to find out.
I used to work here as a Funstar in 2009 before it got refurbished. It's such an amazing place. It holds so many great memories for me.
It looks very nice and attractive. I love the smell of caravans they have a wood/ fabric, musky smell.

The USA needs these
Just returned from Haven Kent Coast (All Hallows),only 45mins from home. Stayed in a disabled bronze van.. Van was excellent nd generally well thought out for wheelchair users. The shower was a wet room with seat in shower. There is a self hoist to assist into bed. Minor problems microwave too high ,pans and crockery to high..There is an access ramp with adequate turning space. We found the staff on site extremely helpful in fct going above and beyond. Agreeing with the views over the estuary, could have been anywhere in the world. Used the fish and chip outlet, never again!!!!! All information was via a telephone app, bit awkward when you don't have it. The only downside was, we were in the area called Thamesview and meant driving to the activity area, not so good for disabled . First time using Haven, will use them again
We just had a Haven at Quay West, absolutely loved it, one of the best holidays we've ever had. Caravans have really come a long long way

FYI Tim the big hob is known as a Wok burner - so its ideal for stir frys and bigger pans such as (as the name suggests) Woks.

Yeah. First consultant said it was cancer, second consultant said no he shouldn't have told you that, it's a benign tumour. So that's brilliant news.
@@dawnjoyce59 hope everything goes well with the surgery, I had a benign brain tumour nearly 30 years ago, had it removed but had to have regular scans every six months for five years to make sure that it didn’t come back. Absolutely shameful of Butlins not to cancel the holiday though considering the circumstances!

I got home today from a few days in a Haven silver caravan and was really impressed. My last Haven holiday was 30 years ago and it was dire, but I wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful to take my 2 year old granddaughter away for a few days. The park you were on is far superior to Presthaven, which is looking really dated and tired, but the facilities were all there and the staff were all brilliant. The caravan was clean, comfy and really well equipped, even had a dishwasher, and Lily also spent ages moving the chairs around on the verandah😂. The on site shop sold everything you could possibly need and the prices were pretty much the same as the high Street. The worst prices were obviously in the bar, which was extortionate, but overall, I couldn't fault it. I'd definitely revisit as we had a ball and made some special memories. And because we could visit in term time, 4 nights cost just £259 in an 8 berth van, including entertainment passes. It's a👍 from me.

I stayed at Allhallows as it used to be known in 2006, its very handy for people from SE London. It looks like its improved a lot and the lodge you stayed in looked really nice. After seeing this I'd go back.
