light waggler fishing on stillwaters is such a lovely way of fishing and irrelevant of how much technology comes into fishing it will never go out of fashion

At last a professional angler that understands we don't all have 4 identical 13' float rods at our disposal (Alan Scotthorne) he even mentioned using the one rod to change depth. Now thats how most of us fish, one rod and maybe a pole at hand. Brilliant Andy thanks for the advice.

Always how i fish the waggler no matter what the weather. Great way to fish and had many many fish. This season (may-oct) I’ve had 200 fish roll on early spring.

Last year I had a heart problem and I gave up fishing, but watching Andys videos has got wanting to do some waggler fishing on still waters as I know rivers are now a no no just need the tackle again

Years since I fished a waggler like this on a commercial... Really fancy giving it a go.. Thanks Andy (& Rich)

You need a float adaptor or snap-link swivel so you can change the float size if the wind gets up, I use pellet wag adaptors with float stops, you can either put 5 or six mill washers on to balance the float or length of line through float eye with shot either side, this can stay with the float for next time you use it.

So if you put those rubber float stops on either side of the float you don't need to shot the float either side as well? Because that seems a lot easier than destroying my split shots everytime I pack up.
Sorry, im new to this lol

How times change. Any angler worth his/her salt a few years ago would be turning their own casters. And growing gozzers. And keeping a wormery. I could go on. I like Andy but can these media led anglers really hold a candle to the old masters. Boom! Sort that one out.

    • @WinningWays

Like most things, products are far more reliable and accessible now. Places like Lanes are doing bait that good it's just not worth bothering.
What's going to make you a better angler, messing around turning casters or actually going fishing?
