Interesting how the he 111z was literally two heinkels joined together with fifth engine in center wing, an interesting airplane

scalemodelmania they were used to tow me 321 gliders and did some transport work in Russia, some were shot down or destroyed on ground by allied aircraft

Another aircraft joined together was the p82 twin mustang, it was two p51s joined together but did not have a center engine, they were manufactured by north american after ww2 and used as fighter bombers during Korean war
