- Neen Williams spent years partying through his nights and sleeping through his days, finding less time to skate. Now, the pro has gone completely sober, eating healthy and working out to make sure he remains one of the best skaters in the business.

Party mode aside, I could legit just chill with this dude.
As a struggling addict in recovery I gotta say I take comfort in videos like this.
i know, right? thought i was the only one breaking through my 30s within the constant effort of embracing a new healtier way to live my life, another stage, as he said, and I got to say man, now it's a couple months without booze and I'm feeling great, lost weight, etc... but i just can't do with no weed.. but i cook it in milk instead of rolling it in paper XD
@Austin King i know man, it's the fuckin' internet.
Stay strong. The body will heal and the mind will follow. I promise.
Stay healthy man. Don't let distractions mess up your way. You're a new man now. Say it to yourself everyday. Partying and drugs are for teens. It's all fun, but makes you weak. Peace.

Yeah I try to stay as healthy as possible. Still smoke some kush but I don’t do anything else
I'm 26 and I think it's definitely time to make a change in my lifestyle. The way he described being hungover for 4 days was spot on. I stopped skating, stopped playing music, lost countless jobs and opportunities all due to drinking and partying. This was the push i needed, seeing a dope skater/person do it is very inspirational. How can losers find a way to hate on this is beyond me.
newthrash1221 Do it, man. Just try it. You find how awesome life can really be. You don't have to tell people that you've totally quit. Just tell them you're trying it for 30 days or some shit. I spent years missing out on shit because of booze and drugs. Life opened up when I quit.
I think I am going to also. I just turned 28 and lost the passion for music and hate being hungover. tired of waiting to drink and feeling like shit after. I really want to start eating healthy shit and give it up. get back into music and give our bodies the break it needs
your body is your vehicle
This is straight up where I was at the end of 2016. I just hope I don't get cancer soon. hahaha

Neen's an inspiration. I dunno if he also quit pot, but at 30 I decided to put down the ganja after burning almost daily for like ten years. Quit boozing about 5 years ago. I don't regret that part of my youth, I've just had my fill and it's time to move to the next stage in life.
I've been working towards my pilot's license ever since quitting, which was a lifelong dream. Probably wouldn't have followed this path if I kept partying and getting high. I don't really miss chasing that buzz anymore. I'd rather stay sharp and healthy to fly another day. That view from the cockpit is makes it all worthwhile, at least for me.
I feel you bro, I'm 28 and I decided that my party years are over. I'm ready for the next episode of my life.

I'm 22 and was addicted to weed since I was 16, smoked it almost every day until this year. Last year I got heavily addicted to tablets like benzos and pregabs after my dad died. But I fell pregnant January this year, cut out all the drugs and smoking, and I feel so much better. Even after my baby is born I don't want to go back to drugs. Hope everyone here finds their path 🙏
🙌
That’s so awesome
I've been smoking since 16 and I'm 22 now also. for the last 2 years I've had a bad weed addiction like I couldn't go more than 2 days without smoking or I'd just feel so irritable and unhappy I was smoking 5 days a week sometimes the whole week if I could afford it. I still smoke, but the last 3 months I've been cutting down a bit and have a gram or 2 every 2 weeks. I feel a lil better and it's nice not being so reliant on it to feel happy. I enjoy it alot more now too because I get really stoned everytime I smoke like its my first time. Weeds good, some people can smoke it everyday and they're OK, but for most people it's best in moderation, like a treat or an occasion. Same goes for alot of things really like soda, alchohol etc.
ꂠꐟɭꁲꋊ ꃃꍟꋊꁲꂠꂑꍟ I went two years without weed after smoking from age 14-20 multiple times a day. Honestly was the happiest two years of my life. Now I’m 22 back to smoking daily but I hVe a better perspective on life. Breaks can help

After being drunk almost daily for the past 5 years of my 20’s I am glad to say alcohol no longer has a hold of me. It was a bitch to drop it but I’m thankful one day I woke up and decided this was it. After almost just 2 weeks sober I noticed a change in my skin and mood. I am now 2 months in and just looking forward to staying alcohol free. It’s much funner since I can remember my nights and have started working on my self for the better♥️ it really numbs you and makes you think things are ok when In reality life slips you by and when you realize you’re deep into an addiction with no one to turn to but yourself and if you’re too drunk to figure things out on your own it’s like a dead end street. I hope everyone who needs it gets help before it’s too late.
Going through my sobriety right now.. 25 days from weed and alcohol.. Not shaming those who do it but one day you'll wake up and realize its not a healthy lifestyle. Props to all those out there struggling. You can do this!!
whats wrong with weed wtf
the names rick just rick
Its all about opinion.. Honestly i dont think theirs anything wrong with it. Actually, i find it very helpful for many medicinal purposes.. But just like any other substance, it can be abused. I use to smoke 6-8 blunts a day, did this for like 5 years straight.. I didnt realize how much i missed out on my life until i cleaned up. Besides, i live in the bible belt. Unlike the west coast and othet legal states, we dont have a choice to clean up. It starts effecting your jobs and family. EVERYTHING is worth sobering for.
I was gonna say the same thing but 6-8 blunts everyday is a bit much dayum............ smoking a few blunts once a week is fine
Mak O'Malley holy fuck dude, 4 blunts in and i feel like im floating in Mars' oceans with Ice Cube
mintkendishin Well, with addiction you tend to attract those types of people.. Dude it got to the point where i wasn't even having to score my own tree, the people i was associated with just always had it. One buddy would invite me to smoke, id kick it we skate, click up with other homies who were blowing down, always searching for that first high feeling or just pushing the envelope. Its takes a lot of strength to give up that lifestyle and do whats best for your mind body and soul. Its all about choices my friends.
I stopped drinking years ago and it's been a battle every day. I've finally lost enough weight that I am able to skate well again. Skateboarding and actually taking care of my body is the ultimate tool in sobriety. Sometimes I catch myself welling up with tears while I skate. I am just so grateful for what skateboarding has done for me and to be alive.
I love the fact that he's heing healthy but the truth is, in his 40's, he better tone it down on the tricks. Father time is no joke. Hope he gets to skate forever.

Wait. 20 pushups a minute for 10 minutes straight. That is freaking hardcore. Try it.
petepiaire he doesn’t have a lot of weight to push and if all you do is push-ups your body will adapt to that routine to the point where you plateau and are just maintaining but you can crank out an insane amount of plush ups though. It’s good to switch it up.
its an emom. every minute on the minute. give yourself roughly 30is sec of rest each round. Emom workouts are the best!
I was in jail no weights and use to do 1000 push-ups a day 50 a clip and then let a couple people go in between. Dips were my favorite, also did 500 or more a day. Along with squats and pull-ups. Work-out sleep and eat, also stretch. Gained 95lbs of muscle in a year of being in there. 120lbs/215lbs when I got out.
no its not youre just weak
Not even a legit push up you gotta basically touch the ground with your chest

I very often find that people who abuse alcohol or weed earlier in life end up being health freaks later on. It's always in the extremes with these people.
Theyre health becomes a priority thats all. Alot of people dont care at all about what they eat and are not aware of what negative and toxic thoughts do to the body.

@@adriannicoli464 yep, I'm 56 and I can leave these "young dudes" way behind. I'm just very fortunate.
than* you fucking burnout
@@ericallen7112 Yeah no you can't you fossil otherwise you wouldn't have to say it. Don't you have some casket shopping to do?
@@evanbrill6139 I don't have time. Besides work, I just finished a circuit routine of 10 sets of 10 reps, with 225 on the bench, 225 squat, and 40 lb dumbbell curls. Try it, or maybe not, you might be the one looking for a casket if you dare to take the challenge.
Yes! I have seen this years back, and this is such a good watch. Respect @Need Williams!

Dude! Neen grew up in Pilsen, Chicago! like 3 blocks away from me! Back in 2005 when i was 14I would occasionally skate a distribution warehouse that was locally called "Two Five" (cause the address was 2525 S. Blue Island Ave) and Neen and his crew would show up there and would just skate bomb the place, he was super cool and always talked to the local skaters younger and less talented than him (like me haha). He was flow sponsored at the time but was already dropping videos with Pat Pasquale and Tosh Townend. He definitely grew up with a rough upbringing like me, i went on to become a biologist in grad school, moved out of Chicago and im glad he followed his dreams!
He probably doesnt remember me but im super stoked hes living a good life. Heres to you, Neen!
I know this is a older video but Neen's CZcams channel has some straight knowledge.
