Shauntrack is a very talented music youtuber from Spain. He's multi-instrumentalist and singer and on his channel he analyze music and makes videos playing covers and original songs all by himself (voice and all instruments). One of these reaction/analysis videos was about The Warning where he praised their talent and said we need to keep an eye on them.
In the year 2021 the Villarreal Vélez family went to Spain for summer vacations and they contacted and visited Shaun in Sevilla. They had breakfast together in a park and then decided to make a video, at first they thought about making an interview but it was a boring idea, so Shaun said «Let's record something in my studio, I have my instruments and all the stuff necessary in there» and that's how this happened. All of this, the breakfast and the recording, took them like 2 hours.
About this experience Shaun said «They are really nice girls, very humble and extremely professional, they instantly adapted to my instruments without any complaints».

It goes to show that they aren't a carefully constructed illusion. Take away their sound crew, their studio space, their instruments, their backing tracks, their in-ears and Pau's headset, and add in another unfamiliar musician - and they still sound and perform flawlessly.
No surprise of course, but to some it might be. It's not easy to change all that and still nail it 100%.
ShaunTrack is a pretty big spanish youtuber that does music analysis and made a video about The Warning 3 years ago that helped a lot to increase the spanish speaking audience of the band. Apparently a year later the Villarreal family was on vacation in Spain and paid him a visit, from which this version was born. It is in Shaun's studio and the sisters are using his instruments.
ShaunTrack is a music reactor/analyzer from Sevilla, Spain with millions of suscribers. He made a video about The Warning in his youtube channel and in 2021 when The Warning were in vacation with their parents in Spain at the end of the pandemic; they contacted Shaun to chat and decide made this video in the Shaun studio (those are his instruments), and like in the VMA's, one take.
As the song hadn't be realeased yet, Pau didn't make the scream. Ale is saying that she missed a note and laughing, meanwhile Pau is happy because she feel good about the performance.
By the way, most of his songs' analysis are from english speaking music, beacause it is the music he likes the most

Evolve sounds cool with a 2nd guitar.
This was done while The Warning was on vacation in Spain. Shaun Track had done videos featuring The Warning. So, the ladies stopped in to record this. Sure, Pau didn't scream but it turned out really good.
So The Warning went on vacation in Europe and stopped by Shaun Track’s studio in Seville. He had previously done a reaction to The Warning and he is a big Spanish language influencer. They used his instruments and he learned the song for this. For a long time I thought this was the best version of Evolve - but then I heard the one at the Teatro Metropólitan and then the one at the MTV VMAs. How could anything be better? 😂
There was a moment in time when Pau said doing the scream live was “no bueno.” This recording happened during that very brief period.
They are playing the instruments Shaun had available at his studio. Not easy to just pick up instruments you have never played before...especially for Pau , since every drum kit is different. They are pros.
Pau is used to different drum kits because they don't take her drum kit sometimes they do but like when they went to Europe they did not.
The Warning was on vacation in Spain, Shaun had previously made a video of the girls and their development in music, the invitation from Shaun arose, it was the first time they played Evolve live before its release.
This was filmed while TW were in vacation in Spain shortly after the Error album was completed.
Pau hadn't really developed the live scream yet, but, there was a uppity neighbor involved in keeping the noise down.
Also, Ale had gotten acrylic nails for like the first time in her life and had to remove them for this impromptu performance. Her sacrifice should be commended for this awesome performance. 🤘⚡🔥

It's amazing what these Girls can do in an afternoon with someone else's equipment. Ale had to revert back to a four string Bass, and she even had to file off her freshly applied nails that she had done for their vacation!!!

Ale wasn't feeling the best. I believe they had gone out together for lunch and then just went to his studio and did this in the afternoon. Pau was being a little extra careful with his electronic drum kit and obviously didn't have her normal headset microphone for singing. Just 4 pro musicians having a jam session. Pretty impressive since the ladies did not have any of their own equipment with them. Just what he had in his studio that they could use. He may have done some post production tweaking after they did the recording since he has both the equipment and the skill. I don't know either way but this is a very good version of the song.

Fun fact ! Yes it’s true that the 3 girls where on vacation in Spain ! They where at Barcelona at the time decide to reach 0:13 fout to Shaun it’s very true he become very impressed when he discovered QOTMS did several reactions on them , he ask then if they would come to Seville just to meet then in person at a Cafe for BK , here where gets a bit unexpected Shaun has a full recording studio ask then if the eoukd cone and Jan wig him thus very rears he had done this with another artist live the girls go every where whit their guitars if you notice Ash he had a electronic drum kit Pau was all in with that ck out the mics totally top notch to this date first time that the gurus use two quitara he told them he was very honored to have plate with them a season guitarist he did the Rhythm section dead on ! I was hoping, and I'm sure a lot of DPA fans were, that Shaun would have jumped in Evolve in one of their Spain concerts. But I'm sure Seville is not anywhere close to where they played live. Maybe soon.
Neat reaction as ever. Dany was really performaning the song, and it was a lot of fun. Other posters have provided info on this session, and while I missed Pau's iconic scream . . . well, if I've ever wondered how TW would sound as a four piece, well the answer is pretty darn good!

Great reaction, Ashlena. I'm sure you have a million requests lined up, but one day you should think about doing the Dull Knives piano performance by Pau and Dany. Ale says in spanish “creo que me equivoque!!” Means “I made a mistake!” I dont know at what part, bcs this is powerfull.
While I do love this version, both Triumph and the Holy Triumvirate (RUSH) have proven that it’s not necessary to have a 2nd guitar (and I love the guitar!)-so you can thank your fellow Canadians for that, Ashlena !!

Shauntrack, thanks to him I met The Warning when he introduced them on his channel as a band that was born to rock. It's funny to see Pau restraining himself from destroying Shauntrack's drums 🤣 and at the end Ale says laughing, I was wrong with so much sincerity and nobody noticed it.

@@ashlenamusic Several of the artists I like tend to do tracks "featuring" other artists sharing the lead, and changing the song, and honestly, most of them do little to nothing for me (one notable exception: The Hu and Lizzy Hale's "Song Of Women"), I'm so glad TW isn't falling into that trope. This is just so fresh and dare I say "innocent" in a way - just honestly having fun with a fan! so cool!

Have you done the Eruca Sativa video with Dany in the crowd and she is handed the guitar mid song to jam with them. Its from 5yrs ago on The Warnings channel.
They need a second guitar, especially in lives, to fill the gaps when she solos. It would give them room in song writing too, if they knew that there would be a second one when they perform. I too missed Pau's scream though ^^

Borrowed instruments, on vacation, completely impromptu with a guest guitarist and they nail it!
Of course, they have been working as full time pro muscians for nearly 10 years. Teached by pros in the business. The family even downgraded school and education, so the sisters could put max focus on building a career in music. Not really a life much different from young elite athletes.
And hey I don't say DPA ain't good, because they are and they should be, since all their life from an very young age have been focused on building an career as musicians.
