  • We may have a family member or friend who is unable to travel and perform Umrah or Hajj. This could be due to finances or a disability. Is it permissible to perform Hajj or Umrah on someone else's behalf?
There are some conditions. Firstly, the one who wants to do Hajj on behalf of somebody who has passed away, has to have done Hajj before this for themselves, on a different trip. It is permissible for you to do Hajj or Umrah for those who are unable to because of a disability, health issues or age.
