- Kai Havertz scored the winner with four minutes to go as Arsenal beat Brentford 2-1 - but only after the forward avoided a second yellow card for simulation earlier in the half.
A Declan Rice header put the Gunners ahead on 19 minutes, before Yoane Wissa showed great work rate and endeavour to close down Aaron Ramsdale and deflect in the equaliser in first-half stoppage-time.
Havertz, having been booked for a foul in the opening 45 minutes, dived over Nathan Collins' challenge in the second period, and the referee opted not to send him off.
And then, on 86 minutes, the Arsenal forward headed home Ben White's cross to win the game for his side and send the Gunners to the top of the Premier League.

Ramsdale caused them another clean-sheet / just shows how vital Raya is when playing from the back good with his feet
Ramsdale more than made up for that blunder afterwards whilst Rice rattling the crossbar reminded me of that Thomas Partey effort last season.
Ramsdale didn’t make up for anything. He almost cost us that game. I hope we never see him in an arsenal shirt again
There were two Partey efforts last season. One against Spurs and the other against Forest

Well played Bees, but unfortunately undone shortly before the end. I said it before and I will say it again that we are definitely missing Ethan at the back. He was like a rock for us and usually got his head to those kind of balls which we are currently being undone by. I do not know how many headers that we have conceded which have led to goals since Ethan has been out, but it seems like a lot. He really is a key man for us.
Great play by Yoane and he really speculated on Ramsdale's uncertainty and made up a lot of ground to put him under pressure and score a deserved goal.
Ivan's half-volley was almost perfect and would have been a great goal, but it was just lacking the last few centimetres.
Despite the fact we lost we did not succumb like a lot of teams have done when playing against Arsenal at the Emirates this year.
Let us put this disappointment behind us and make sure that we get three valuable points against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday!

After watching the extended highlights, I can now confirm that Kai Havertz has not only rattled the Brentford players and manager, but also the admin. Admin, you intentionally removed all the Arsenal legit penalty appeals and the time wasting of Brentford players and chose to show Havertz's yellow card and diving. The yellow card shouldn't have been given for the record. Now go fight for relegation and remember that all those dark arts you keep using won't save your ass at the end of the day. Karma really punishes such negative forces.

What about all the brentford time wasting? Going down to the floor everytime they got a slight touch? Funnily enough, as soon as it became 2-1, all of a sudden none of the brentford players got "hurt" and no one went down, I found it quite amusing actually

I'm vindicated as a gooner. About five minutes of repeatedly showing the Havertz falling incident in the box. Not even a look at Trossard being savagely pulled down. That's what you bees are like.
