    DUDE!! IDK.. The fact that you took a moment to list the other brands so other people can do their research real quick was such a nice touch! I'll definitely be using that idea. I wish I saw this video earlier!

      Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm glad this helped you in someway even if it was later. It's cool to see something in my video will be used elsewhere since I also enjoy watching how people add small touches that help me out as well with my limited editing skills.

    I have this monopod and it's truly a great design with impeccable build quality and materials. Many users use this fine monopod as a combo hiking staff and monopod hence the reason they chose to add an inexpensive, but still useful, compass. It never hurts to have a compass of most any quality if you get caught in a very dark, overcast night or in fog and you aren't certain where you're heading.
    Cheers ...

    I have this monopod. It is a great piece of kit. Folds up really small, extends really long, and very stable. I use mine with L 20 head. (Which is also great on my ST-124 tripod.)
    Superb products from Sirui. Good prices to. Really recommended.

    Hi, what is the difference of p326 and am326m ? And whats the older version Model ?

    • @ProjectAnubisUSA
      @ProjectAnubisUSA  Před 3 lety +1

      Not sure. It appears to be the same in all categories. Maybe newer model for marketing or regional marketing. I know mine was the older version since I had both but both was labeled p326. Maybe removable spike and tip?

    Hi! How do you see if it is the old or the new version? without dismantling it?

      The strap writing and logo was thinner and crisp on the new one if I recall correctly. Also full extension should wobble on the new. The foam grip should also spin on the new one and only have glue on the lower section if I recall correctly. You can also ask them when they purchased it and gauge a rough estimate that the new happen around the time of this video or slightly before

    Will this monopod hold a gimbal (weebills) with an sony a6400 camera? When fully extended? And while doing overhead movements?

      Yes but I’d recommend leaving 1/4 or more tube in each section for more sturdiness. This monopod isn’t taller than an average person so I’m unsure what you mean by overhead-shots. If your trying to use it as a boom arm I’d recommend leaving 1” of the tube in each section for the stiffness. Unless you’re just using it to extend your eyesight by a foot or so pass a two had grip. A lot of manufacturers will have sag at full extension due to the nature of sectional joints not the material (carbon fiber). I have noticed latches seem to have less joint movement at full extension. If you’re trying to use this as a long boom arm I’d recommend a single piece tube for maximum rigidity. Anything telescoping will have some flex when suspended out that might be due to the material because it’s stepping down (not with this monopod) or the joint since it doesn’t have enough internal leverage to hold the outside leverage solid due to the weight of the extended item.

      PROJECT ANUBIS thanks for answering. Yeah I just want to extend the gimbal to make more creative shots. For example to shoot people walking on the street from above. I think the telescopic monopod is my only choice because it has to fit in my backpack.

      PROJECT ANUBIS the Zhiyun mini monopod is telescopic but more rigid when extended. But it’s only 62 cm when fully extended. I’d like something a little bit longer...

      Iason Visser my next buy will be a weebill s hopefully for ease of product reviews. I love the 18650 battery swap option it has since my flashlights are the same verses internal batteries. How are yo liking it’s performance? Do you hear motor noises when recording? When I had my GoPro planet to gamble I couldn’t hear in the motor noise personally but the GoPro itself would pick it up and force me to use an external mic if I wanted any audio.

      PROJECT ANUBIS I don’t own the weebill yet. I’m planning on buying it
