  • The 8-1, #2 Alabama Crimson Tide traveled to Starkville, MS to face the 7-2, #17 Mississippi State Bulldogs. This was the 100th meeting between the two schools. It was also Nick Saban's 100th victory as Alabama head coach.

    This game was part of a string of post-LSU games where Bama didn't score in the first quarter (the most notable being the first A&M conference game).

    Dak was a great college QB and is making a name for himself in the NFL, but he never did squat against Alabama.

      He actually had decent games vs Bama, nearly bringing them back in 2014 when they were #1. However, the talent of his supporting cast just could not match up with Bama's talent.

    I hope Tim Williams is still eating up quarterbacks in the NFL! But, I felt so sorry for Prescott in this game!
