Wherever you study, students might be interested. I failed in 9th grade. But now I am working as Professor in China. I did my undergraduate in Tamil medium. My only request to parents is, please don't compare your children with other children. Please motivate your children and train them to be independent.

Maths and science subject in cbse is almost similar to TN state board .Definitely english level is higher in Cbse.
ICSE provides indepth knowledge so icse board is better than cbse.I just compared syllabus and question paper pattern. ICSE question papers make student to think critically

If you ask me in my personal experience, i have been seeing most of the govt exams, neet are cracked and cleared by govt school students. Where other cbse, icse are move in to show case or get into IT companies
Lot of difference in same cbse in Tamil Nadu and in North. Still it is taught as a state board not given concept oriented education and it is spoon fed by schools. And here we do more practical oriented project oriented and presentation skil development

Sir please ask your son. I studied upto 10th in cbse and joined 11th 12th in state board. I really hated that. In cbse I use answer using my own words but in stateboard I have write Xerox copy of book as answer. So please allow your son to make decision. You give him all Pro and cons on table. Let him decide

Utter waste to join CBSC. Because obtained marks of a student we cant say standard or quality of that student. From different question papers how to determine compare the quality.
No one worry to ask any questions to CBSC board. No one response.
TN board is best for joining to best university in tamilnadu. Because students studying under TN board got good marks than CBSC . They are expecting marks only not quality. I THINK IN FUTURE PARENTS TAKE CARE THEIR STUDENTS TO TN BOARD.

For computer science future options are many and also job opportunities both in India and abroad. Basic point is every board has different syllabus hence questions r vary. State board n metric students r suffering. All boards are equal. Even our state board syllabus is much better. But our state did follow up properly.

Hello Sir, which board is good for USA return kids , grade9th? My son studied grade1 to 7th in USA 13years old, don't know hindi, know Tamil , strong stem skills . Planning to move India, so which board& grade is good and easy for him?
I would recommend ICSE mainly for overall exposure and the learning patterns is somewhat not just studying the books. CBSE is equally fine but for Hindi and it is more of syllabus oriented.
