Jakub Tkadlecek - Engineering Manager at Mews
Jakub joined Mews when someone’s apartment was considered ‘The Office’. While his work life stirred him towards the role of technical manager, he still considers code just a more structured offshoot of poetry. When he does not code, he runs. When he does not run or code, he thinks about at least one of those.
Aldair Borges - Senior Product Manager at Mews
Aldair is a product manager who moved to the Czech Republic from Zimbabwe. He helps Mews build products that manage the operation and distribution of inventory for the hospitality industry. When he’s not working on building products, he enjoys trying out new technology and virtual reality. When he’s not traversing the digital world, he explores the physical one as an avid runner.
Zuzana Hrusovska - Product Design Lead at Mews
Zuzana has been a product designer at Mews for over 5 years, lending her expertise to nearly every one of Mews’s B2B teams. At the moment, she’s dedicated to improving the lives of receptionists and reservation managers. Beyond her work, Zuzana finds joy in exploring new destinations, experimenting with culinary creations, admiring the architecture, and opting for stroll over runs.
Dr. John McCarthy - Senior UX Designer at Testco
Dr John is a hands-on UX & Product leader with deep experience in both small and large organisations. In start-ups he’s formed and led teams to ship new products in tight timescales. In larger organisations he’s led digital transformation by distributing and embedding design best practice. Outputs include award winning projects across sectors for organisations including ITN, English Heritage, Natwest, The British Army and Tesco.
Amanda Ho - Product Manager at Tesco
Amanda has 5+ years experience solving customer problems across the private, public, fintech and travel sectors. From fast-paced start-ups to large companies, she’s obsessed with delivering well-crafted, user-friendly products and experiences on app and web. She is currently the Talent Development Lead for the Tesco Race and Ethnicity Network, and is passionate about coaching junior talent and contributing to the firm’s DEI agenda.
