Wanted to thank you kevin for the bmw clutch replacement on Thursday. The car now drives a dream thank you I also highly recommend you to friends if they need a clutch replacement
Very impressive working outside. One of my first big jobs was changing the clutch on a mk3 escort van I was only 18 back then! I did it on a busy road! That hydraulic lift looks really handy and safe. Have you ever thought about having a pop-up gazebo for when it's raining. Keep up the good work💪
Complimenti per i lavori svolti. Non è facile lavorare in strada senza ponte sollevatore. Impressionante come alzi il cambio con le braccia e le ginocchia.bravo Saluti dall' italia ti seguo sempre da meccanico a meccanico.
You are such a competent mechanic. I could only imagine how difficult it would be to be working as a mechanic and also producing such a high quality content. Keep up the good work mate
I'm about to change out the slave cylinder for a clutch on a 2008 Focus, because it's filling the housing up with brake fluid... Thanks for the video mate.
Hi Kevin, I see that you had a busy week and the weather was not helping you. But as always, you managed to sort your work out even in the snow. Keep the videos coming in and thank you, once again for sharing. 👍
btw you deserved my sub. youre a very hard worker. I work on my own cars at home. I can sort of relate esp when its raining and freezing outside! Stay healthy and keep warm and dry! great content
Hi Kevin You are amazing ….the skill and speed you replace any cars gear box………..I am not a mechanic but I have done G/B replacement to my own car……took me ages. You gotta be fit to do what you do day in day out…..well done. I was thinking while watching you working I see you have a diesel heater…..great idea. As a suggestion you could use a pop up gazebo to keep your tools and gear dry also keep the rain off your ground mats. Take care pal and keep your video’s coming. When my clutch needs replacing in future……..your the Man….great work.
Thank you for a generous feedback. Only thing with pop up gazebo is the risk of the metal legs scratching the vehicle is almost guaranteed that’s the main reason I’ve opted not to use it. But great suggestion otherwise
@@WMCS Hi Kevin.. yes you are right about scratching customers cars……definitely a No No. What I did with my pop up gazebo is I bought foam pipe lagging from B&Q ……wrapped them around the legs and taped them on. Have you seen foam pipe lagging…….it has a spit along the length of it. This works fine for it’s purpose. They will slide down the leg when folded….and looking at your van tool layout it looks plenty big enough to lay it on top of your tool box. Just a suggestion as getting wet or soaked when working is miserable but they are easy and quick to erect and fold down. I know it is one more item to prepare but well worth it.
Hello master! I can see that this job is your passion. I also go to people and repair agricultural machinery. Unfortunately, I don't have time to record and publish videos. I really like the recordings from the tour. Your country is beautiful. Best regards from Poland.
Hi Kevin Love your work I noticed you don’t ever lube where the throw out bearing slides on the shaft ? Is there any reason for that ? Keep up the great work, very inspirational ..
I'm thinking you should grab one of those lumbar supports (if you haven't already). I buggered my back doing work on cars and it's been 10 years ago that happened now. Still work but sheesh!
Kris I had one from a previous suggestion. It caused me an instant injury 😆🍻.. The side of the belt dug into my back muscle with all sorts of problems. I suppose it’s good when standing up. But thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated 🍻🍻🍻
Awesome work as usual, how do you go about taking the bell housing bolt out next to DPF on those 1.6 HDI engines? I do clutches on these at work and they are a pain! Lol
You are professional. I have positively commented on all your videos. Here you could have cleaned a bit the base before you put the new pressure plate and disk. OK. I can see that is cold out, that might be the reason why you are in a hurry. We should note that. Thanks.
@@WMCS It was on the 2 car, the Ford, just before you put the new pressure plate, the base was heavy with surface dust, but now that I look at it. You might have cleaned it, just you stopped the camera and then continued with the video, it did look clean now, when I view it again. Thanks.

Hi David. I use chassis for the main load bearing axle stands. Side sills are used for safety stands. But some vehicles have reinforced seal for the purpose of lifting the vehicle. Usually marked by a rectangle imprinted on the seal.

Exactly that James. Until I cannot physically do it. Then I will drive around and back just because I love the travel to and fro as much as I enjoy repairing the vehicles.
I can’t vouch for that hearsay. But one thing to note is there’s 3 line of LUK. The original which is Schaeffler ., which we use that is bought from a part shop. I noticed you don’t ever lube where the throw out bearing slides on the shaft ?
