I really like Hammer's lineup top to bottom. The Scorpion line is really good and the Hazmat line seems to take what the Scorpion line already does well and seems to improve on it if that was even possible. Then you have the Effect which could be the ball of the year so far.

Probably won't happen, would have to get another ball, Tobias and Zach are Storm staffers so they couldn't throw this one, Angel doesn't have a P2, James doesn't have a P2, etc. The Hype might do something like this though.
With the huge amount of releases it's rare for me to say this, but I think I NEED that ball. Pin down I think I would love that ball.

I'm a hammer head for sure but my GB5 has been so freaking good for me I don't see this ball replace it. Had the OG Hazmat and I didn't match up... Changed the surface 3 different ways and it just didn't work for me. I feel the solid would be a better fit for my style of play. But, again... GB5 is just too good to try this one out.
Rock in a hard place! my GB2 is about used up, now GB5 or another solid cover sym is the tough question.
@@dillon_r_hansen GB5 is strong! But, if you put at 2k or 3k and then let it lane shine a bit it'll play just like the GB2. Hair stronger. But, out of the box that thing is hook continues for days.

Semtex material coverstock.....do you feel it hydroplane in oil and sudden bite on dry? that kind of over-under reaction reminiscent of some olden day reactive....is this material old stocks from 2016 Dark Legend era?
Nah, its really consistent. I'm sure there are some differences in the materials and manufacturing processes even if it's still the same formula on paper. Semtex was always one of the better ones from the Kentucky plant anyway.
How would the hazmat solid compare to optimum idol and would the hazmat be stronger than scorpion low flare or would they be very close to one another
The Hazmat Solid is definitely cleaner and sharper than the Optimum, I think the Optimum has a little stronger cover. I think the Hazmat is also a little stronger than the Scorpion Low Flare though
Do you think the ai core is more of a marketing thing, or does it actually make a difference
I can feel the difference in the ball roll, it's a heavier, slower revving feel, and at least as a whole, the original Summit absolutely carries off hits better. However, most stuff is more marketing than effectiveness. USBC has limits and rules on a lot more things than people think. Dynamicore for example, USBC has a limit on coefficient of restitution, which basically controls how hard a ball can hit, and if a ball hitting harder was better, why wouldn't everything be designed to hit as hard as possible?
AI is more meant to strengthen the core and also to help even out the numbers between the weights, but for most balls, it makes them kind of chuggy and bogs them down.
What's up with SPI? Are they going to release anything new for Bowl Expo?

Question for you so I currently have the black widow 3.0,Hammer Effect,hammer widow toxin and the hammer vibe. Do you think this ball is necessary to get to add to my current collection??
It would fit with what you already have, now I can't answer if it's necessary or not, but it wouldn't overlap anything at least.
