I'm going to be doing the same very soon. That looks about the size of carport I'm going to use. I want to get a 18x21, that looks like what you have. I'm going to frame a base and use gravel compacted for the floor. I want running water, would've my natural gas for my griddle. I really like that screen idea. I'm definitely going to copy that. I might build a lean to to move my grills under it and use the carport for seating.
And mine is the BBQ Lounge...lol

@@theculinarycompound9154 I'm so undecided about sides. Would you do sides on yours if you had to do it again? I'm thinking about getting sides to help keep out rain, snow, etc...but I'm in NC and get 100 degree days in the summer. I guess I'll need to see what's involved in removing them in the summer.
@Jeffrey Gwinn I originally wanted to close it in, but I'm in SC and like you said, it can get super hot! Plus I need somewhere for the smoke to escape once the wind hits it. So yeah, I thought about it, but it I'm afraid I may regret it lol.
