My Dad bought this exact vehicle in 72 except he had the orange paint color.. He kept it for the rest of his life, until he passed away in 2009.. It was kept all original right down to the AM/FM radio, except he installed an aftermarket electronic distributor to help with cold starts in the snow. Even after all those years he still had the original drive-train. The Tranny had been rebuilt several times, but I think the top end of the engine (valve jobs) was all that was ever done to the engine... I think one cylinder had low compression for the last 10 years or so, but it still drove just fine so he just didnt worry about it. I've got a picture of me and my brother standing next to it back in 1972, and another picture of my two sons standing next to it in 2009.. can't beat that for nostalgia...
As much as I loved that Jimmy, we needed to sell it, and found a real enthusiast who had wanted one his whole life.. We sold it for $5,800, which was about double what my dad had paid for it.

My dad has a 69 bronco and a 71 jimmy and coming from a ford fan the jimmy is far more comfortable and spacious. Both excellent machines

Well it's a very beautiful 1972 GMC Jimmy but I doubt that this Blazer is an all original never been touched I mean after all everything does break and everything gets age and I should I know I have been restoring my all original Blazer like it's brand new again myself and that has also been maintained

Okay this is very shocking but I just got off of my rod. Com and blows my mind but this really is a all original never been touched GMC Jimmy and I have suspicion that the owner that bought this Blazer is driving it in the video🤔

It is indeed original but I'm not the original owner. It now belongs to a proud new owner. Thanks for watching! And best of luck to ya on your restoration.
