  • Fat is one of the most misunderstood nutrients and there is much confusion about what fats are "good" and bad" .In fact, many people don't even know that fat is an essential nutrient! Your brain and nervous system, eyes and hormones cannot function without fat. In fact, every cell in your body is covered with a layer of fat! Even your heart needs it! But the critically important data is WHICH fats your body absolutely needs and which ones actually cause inflammation, cancer and other diseases.
    In this video, I go over the details of this for you and also point out the connection between fat intake and stress management, as well as other health issues that fat deficiency can create.

    Is this why people that were born, 1900-20s always used butter and bacon grease fat to cook eggs ? and we were always told this was bad for you.

    One thing I particularly like about your videos is that not only do you talk about what's good or not good to eat, but you explain why, along with explaining the body processes and secretions. Very helpful for people like me who have only read articles about what to eat. So many of them don't explain why. Thank you so much, and I'm looking forward to your video on raw milk - that's something I really love.

      I put a search in my browser for sprouted grain bread brands in the UK and some options came up. Try that and see if you find something. If not, let me know! 😊

    I would like the link to the Wise Tradition diet please. Also is peanut oil and grapeseed oil ok to use? I have a question about allergies...will they ever go away? milk products and gluten? Thank you for your videos...hungry to always learn more as God had me to see a holistic doctor about 2 yrs ago to learn how to eat!!

      Peanut oil is not recommended. It has too much Omega 6 fatty acids and is considered inflammatory. Grape seed oil is less desirable.
      Regarding allergies, each body is different so there is not one specific answer to your question. We can say that better quality foods would reduce inflammation and make the body less reactive.

    Please list FAT that is good to cook with, now that we know the processed seed oils are TOXIC !

      Avocado oil (medium heat) , Ghee, butter, coconut oil, good quality lard, goose and duck fat. All stable at higher heats. If it’s solid add a cool temperature, it’s stable at a high heat.Make sure they are organic!
