Craig's always been a terrific interviewer. I don't think anyone has or ever will come close in the history of late night TV.
Heck, even his monologues were great. I'm not a huge fan of late night shows like I was when I was a kid, but I would sometimes still tune in for him.

Hugh is insanely talented and has many skills seen and used in both the US and the UK. However, "House" is what made him explode in the US. Although I appreciate all that he has done, what I miss watching is new episodes of "House" and not all those other shows. The whole cast made it an excellent show.

Personally I knew him from Fry and Laurie and Blackadder first I watched the re-runs of it when I was a child, hilarious stuff, in the same vein as monty python. I wasn't sure how he'd do in a drama role on House but was very pleasantly surprised. He was just as brilliant in that as he was in his earlier comedic roles.

I have to ask, did anyone else actually feel badly for him when he talked about being unhappy and incapable of just having fun for the sake of having fun? I mean, to me, Laurie is the most versatile genius entertainer in this past decade and enters this decade with the title well in hand. I REALLY hope he was just kidding around when he claimed to be unhappy or unable to have fun.
