Not everywhere is dangerous enough to have to :) not only that, but it helps to live modestly and have nothing to steal. The chances of someone wanting to hurt you (at least where I’m from…) are slim to none. And chances are in these places it is safe enough, there aren’t many outsiders, and if an insider dare hurt anyone, they get a taste of street justice.
This is why I clean as I go. It only takes a moment to rinse things up and put away what you brought out. Usually, by the time my meal is cooked, my kitchen is clean. Then I only have to clean the dishes and bowls we are actually using. Voila! Clean kitchen.
I think most of those things were dishes from eating the meal and the pots used to make it. Do you dish dinner up and then before serving it clean all the pots? Sometimes when everyone’s taking their time to get to the table I do that but usually I serve, eat then do all dinner dishes and the prep dishes at once.
When my kids were small and my husband worked away from home, I always cleaned at night and I found it so relaxing. I always had a glass of wine when I finished 😂

The only reason I came here is because I knew I would get motivated by you and to restart my week fresh I'm 15 years old and I'm trying to clean my entire house as a family of 6 I want to surprise my mom because she's at work and I've seen how hard she has worked because we're fasting too and she's incredible so I'm going to clean my entire house and cook later and then give her a massage and tell her I love her and hangout and watch the solar eclipse tomorrow ❤❤❤

I unload the bottom rack first in case there is some water hanging out on bowls or cups on the top rack. I suppose this is one of those preferences like does toilet paper go over or under. 😂
I just got done cleaning mine, I like to clean at night. Goes back when my kids were little, when they went to bed I'd clean s straighten stuff up. I just couldn't vacuum.🥰

I always clean the kitchen while i,m making dinner, just put the leftovers in the fridge, dishes to the dishwasher, wipe the table, quick vacum and done.
I still think there’s too much stuff on the counter. I believe in neatly put things away except the coffee machine and a Center piece on the island. Like Patricia Hadley I clean as I go. Pots and pans are washed by hand as it take too much room in the dishwasher and waste of water.
