Boosted Board 2 Clicking Noise

- It's incredibly loud when I ride on it. You can hear it from about a block away with this clicking sound.
UPDATE: I spoke to them today after they saw the video. They said to check the wheel drive, and the silver-gear connecting the belt to the motor. No luck :-( Made a second video here: • Boosted Board 2 Clicki... - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Thx bro I just heard the same thing, checked it before I saw yer video, and thought it felt loose... gonna crank her down now!!
I just found out what it was! The gear that is bolted to the wheel, that silver thing. That's lose, take the wheel off and there should be screws and that thing is lose. Tighten that up, and it should be fine
Is it normal that you can just hold the left wheel and only the right wheel spins? it's like the pulley is not mounted on the motor shaft.
Yes, they're independent motors, so technically they spin independently.
They're still inspecting my board-- they have a "hold" on all of the boards until the battery issue Boosted is currently facing is resolved. There should be an update on that this Friday though :-)
My motor is clicking as well on my Boosted Stealth. Did you figure out any solution?
Nic McDonald, yeah I ended up mailing my board back for service (which ironically was at the same time they did the battery repairs for free last year). They found that it was faulty bearings and replaced them under warranty. It’s been fine ever since :-)
Did you resolve this issue?
Not yet, I made the video last night (Saturday). I emailed their support team this morning with the video, so, I should hear something by Monday.
