THIS RIDE WILL BE THE DEATH OF YOU. After Final Destination 2, the series was turned back over to the original director, James Wong, for a third installment. Final Destination 3 takes place 5 years later and follows a new psychic girl, Wendy Christensen, whose timely vision saves seven lives before the accident on the roller coaster Devil's Flight.
FD3 contains more concealed signs, clues and other things you might have missed than any other single film I've covered on Things You Missed™ so far.
It's said best by the coroner William Bludworth himself, "In death, there are no accidents, no coincidences, no mishaps and no escapes." So items that I may have otherwise chalked up to coincidence and left off of an episode of Things You Missed™ and going to be included in my episodes on the Final Destination franchise.
From references to Flight 180; symbols of luck, chance and fate; numerous rollercoaster references and easter eggs; signs obscured in photographs; and the huge hidden detail that can be found on the subway map at the end of the movie, I'll be covering EVERY SINGLE DETAIL you may have overlooked in the third Final Destination.
Make sure your safety bar is securely fastened and get ready for one of the wildest episodes yet!

It appeals most to the demographic it’s aimed at: high school teens. The other movies, aside from the first mainly feature adults. Between this one and the first, however, the deaths hit harder because they are more based around common high school age events and activities: theme parks, tanning salons, working out, night time shifts at a startup job, drive thrus, etc. plus it feels nostalgic for adults who watch the film for the same reasons as above.
Edit: Plus Mary Elizabeth Winstead was the best lead in these movies hands down. Not just because of her acting (which is top tier and feels genuine) but also because her character was perhaps the most realistic in terms of how she reacted to the events and how she pursued solutions.

For #31 : Hell's Gate is a permanent ride at Playland Vancouver. It gets its name from a BC landmark where the Fraser River is squeezed through a tight zone, and the rushing water looks extremely violent due to being quickly forced through a small space. The ride is also a small tight space with a lot of violent action, hence the shared name.
It's definitely neat that they featured the ride's sign in that one shot, and you're probably right about the reasons why, but the film crew didn't put it there!

When you're in water you have less control, in water you can base it all on luck. Sure you have life guards but if you're drowning you base it all on luck that you survive without the life guards seeing you or base it all on luck that they did see you. So water can be based on luck.
