@@BrkDownMedia 🤣 🤣Forreal though man this was actually a great breakdown of the Altima you’ve produced. In the early and mid 2000s Altimas had a little “street cred” with the 3.5 SE they were quick for the time especially in 6 speed manual. Now the Altima has lost that spark especially with the CVT. They have this nice new VC-Turbo motor but it is held back by the CVT I feel. Good cars though if you take of them and do regular maintenance they will last you. Looking forward to more automotive breakdowns from you.👍
@@e46m54nissansr20937 Thank you! I keep trying to tell people most cars are reliable as long as you take care of them. I appreciate the support! Working on the Toyota Tacoma next.
The Jatco CVT is more reliable than people think. Which is why Nissan warranty claims remain low as it pertains to the CVT. Also, curious if most ppl. Change the fluid at 60k like Nissan recommends.
It’s mixed reviews, from my understanding. They either clunk out really early or the last 200k miles. To be fair, warranty claims are usually low due to new cars having few problems. Really more problems don’t come up till 5-10 years in. But you’re right about service intervals.
Dunno, a dealership gave me a Sentra loaner a few years ago with 45k on it, didn’t even make it home, they said just tell us where it is and we’ll send a truck.
my altima is from 2010 with the original CVT it came with and all me and my grandpa did (previous owner) is keep up with maintenance. 315k miles and it is dying but its still running good for a transmission with 300k+ miles
Idk who I despise more.. Altima/Maxima or Charger/Challenger drivers 🤦🏾. No regard for human life. When I have enough time to catch them barreling down the highway at twice the speed limit in my rearview mirror with a busted headlight and front bumper flapping in the wind, I move out the way. If I catch them too late, I say a little prayer and hold the wheel at 10 and 2 with the gi Joe Kung Fu grip🤦🏾
ha - thanks for the vid. We had a 2005 for a number of years - was it wonderful? No. But other than a single fuel injector that needed replacing it worked great. Solid, efficient transportation.
The Nissan Altima is more technologically advanced than some of its competition? I really hope you touch on that during this video because I can see it.... maybe you're right though 🤔
As an owner of a 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe I don't have any problems with the car .. Honestly it lasted longer than the 2019 Civic I had . I think it's how people take care of their cars and for sure I'm getting another one next year if I don't get the Nissan Z .. They're worth the money and for sure the Altima is more profitable now since Nissan now is now back in having a say with their vehicles and Renault only now has 15% shares with no voting rights in the company. Nonetheless I think the Nissan Altima and Maxima ( discontinued ) will be electrified coming 2025 along with the Infiniti lineup.
That’s exceedingly rare, it could be the coupes were built on a different line than the sedan. Especially if you have the 3.5L. I was just saying the Renault announcement is going to be like Mazda back in 2010. We’ll have to wait and see to be sure.

What about the Versa?

Nissan Altima owners swear that they’re driving a fucking GTR that’s way it’s the most hated

My 2011 Altima had no issues so I bought a 2019 awd SL loaded and love getting 30 mpg...
Not celebrity gossip but about cars😮SUBBED
I’m glad I found this channel!💪🏽
Glad to find you! 🙌🏾
The Nissan versa is way smaller than the sentra idk why they were basically the same size
Altima drivers feel the need to switch lanes damn near hitting people without using their blinkers (turn signal) That’s why I hate Altima drivers.
🤣
Because typically when I see a Nissan Altima driver there are the car equivalent of a lifted Dodge ram driver with a light bar at your eye level
LOL! Basically. There's a particular demographic that the Altima caters to.
lol did you see the altima driver compilation?
No I need to 😂

Yup. Chevy Impala... the Nissan Altima of 2010!
That JATCO really ruined it for Nissan
I love the 2001 Nissan maxima
i always see an alitma with a cracked or hanging off bumper, i dont like to drive near them.
🤣 Altima Hellcat
Is a good car with bad drivers
Love the maxima much better looking than the Honda or Toyota and it was faster and v6 charger but that transmission is horrible.
Yeah the VQ was too powerful for that transmission. A physical first gear like Toyota would have solved that problem
Or Volkswagen Passat
