One thing I like about Lisa Malosky is that when she interviews the contender who is behind in the Eliminator, she never mentions the headstart handicap that the contender has to make up.
Finally, an episode with 4 gosh-darn friggin good contenders. There have been good episodes this season, but this might be the first GREAT episode of the season!
Was Sky the only Mom of the American Gladiators? A few of them were Dads(Laser, Gemini, Sabre) but I think Sky may have been the only Mom at the time of the show
@@alloh2021 she also had to hide that she was pregnant in the 1st season since they were told that they were expendable. she was doing some pretty heavy events while she was pregnant
Larry Thompson is a track of all trades. He’s a referee and a poet. This is one of the best episodes of AG. At 37:45 Jazz and Zap. It doesn’t get any better than seeing two beautiful women 😍🥰👊🏾💍🌹
The one thing with him is that i noticed is that he had zero tolerance for high hits in Powerball or any of the events even if it was by mistake you were out. Also loved when the Gladiators lost their cool he would put a stop to that right then and there. Sure he made a few calls that i think he didn't need to make but he was fair judge and explained why he did what he did and what someone did wrong. He was a judge that had no side, he was there to make sure the rules were being followed and there was no dirty playing.
Now that we've gotten through every match of Swingshot in season six, I have a question? Why did the contenders score less points in Swingshot in season six than they did in season five? Seriously, the women's average score went down from 6.923 points in season five to 2.091 points in season six! For the men, it went down from 5.962 points to 2.545 points! What change caused this huge drop in scoring?
The gladiators have improved on their blockage. Same for tug of war, where you see very few success from the contenders compared to the previous season.
Warning- The gladiators and contestants are highly trained athletes and have a lifetime of experience, but they are not invincible. Bodies have been broken, necks broken, concussions inflicted, and careers ended in an instant. Although it is entertainment, the hazards are real, and the contestants and gladiators take real risks, endure unimaginable pain, and put their bodies, their careers, and their lives on the line. Don't risk yours! Be Smart! Be Safe! PLEASE DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, SCHOOL OR ANYWHERE ELSE!!!
Good news, it won't be that way forever. Sprint Telephone Services will be brought back into the mainstream thanks to the Retro Decade Revival Project.
Sometimes, even Gladiators have to step outside their roles, to be the best outside the Arena, and at places, like home. Not easy to be a Gladiator & a Parent at the same time, like Sky.
One of the best episodes of season 6. Larry Thompson referee/poet, a marriage proposal, and four awesome contenders. What more can we ask for?
A 12 cut pepperoni pizza with a side of favorite beverages would do it for me
"I love this more than anything! I love it more than... almost anything!" I hope I remember to use this quote one day, because it is golden.
Hawk was one of a kind
That was one special proposal he got the gladiators respect and happiness and he got a yes from the love of his life
That’s my Uncle Anthony and they are still married today! 😊
The last preliminary round of the season...and definitely one of the weirder openings in the show's history.
That was odd.

I never liked the head start rule. Didn't make sense

This season was indeed when the original run of American Gladiators jumped the shark.
Lol where’s Fonzie when you need him?
Love how Hawk just picked up Anthony's fiancé with such gentle ease to bring her out of the seats.
This takes me back to my childhood memories i watch American Gladiators on USA Network TNN and ESPN Classic awesome nostalgic Memories
How sweet
Was Sky the only Mom of the American Gladiators? A few of them were Dads(Laser, Gemini, Sabre) but I think Sky may have been the only Mom at the time of the show
No she wasn't
Galen is also a Dad
Zap was also a mom. She missed Season 2 to give birth
@@alloh2021 she also had to hide that she was pregnant in the 1st season since they were told that they were expendable. she was doing some pretty heavy events while she was pregnant
11:38 Chalk up two more Ws for the great Siren

9:45 whiplash is aggressive 😢
It is absolutely unfair to drive the contender out and pin them down
2:02 this is gonna be good 👍 👌 🙌 👏 😌 🙏.
2:32 American Gladiators.

Gregory Mack Jr. was fantastic in Swingshot, Whiplash, Assault, and the Men's Eliminator.

That’s the first time I ever that Turbo lost the Bone in Whiplash
Now that was an unexpected intro. Larry Thompson doing Poetry.
On A.G.,she did it her way,Deb Ruehle!
Too bad *Sprint Telephone Services* aren't there anymore today.
Good news, it won't be that way forever. Sprint Telephone Services will be brought back into the mainstream thanks to the Retro Decade Revival Project.
AMERICA! F! YEAH!

Maybe it's just me but Gladiators went down the tubes once it hit the fifth season. Six was weak and seven was just horrible.
Hawk was hired just to make the whole show more flaccid.
It's like every comment you leave is you lamenting your non-functioning junk. Leave your ED to yourself
Deb Ruehle was awesome in Swingshot, The Wall, Scored 5 points in the Conquer Portion of Breakthrough and Conquer, and the Women's Eliminator.
Why's Lisa Malosky not at the desk with Mike Adamle?
I told you before, Jordan. Lisa is commentary and interviewing.
There's something cringy about this season
