Great job on your tutorials, Misty! I have a mini flashlight that I keep with my white fabrics that looks blue when turned on so when you shine it on the tone on tone fabric you can clearly see the pattern and know which is the right side. I wish I had thought of this but I saw it at my local quilt shop and thought it was brilliant! I just take the light to my sewing machine if I'm working with tone on tone because it's easier to check as I go!
magic idea
Oh Misty, I made this table runner for my youngest sister and turned out great! Thank you so much!❤❤❤
Misty!! I am a new quilter but like all new quilters have been making purchases like crazy! LOL!! This video of yours is just amazing.....I believe I can make one of these. You make this look so relaxing and your voice says YES... You Can Make One!! So, I am going to purchase some of the material you showed if it is still available and give this a try!! This really is one of the best videos I have watched!! Thank you!!
Luv the quilt on the ladder also❣
WOW that is really a fast way to make a star. Plus ending with a nice table runner.
We just got new countertops and my husband wants to protect them. He asked me to make a runner for the kitchen island - this is perfect! Thank you 😊
With lots of bbq picnics ahead this will make a great hostess gift! Tks for updating this beauty Misty! 🎉🇺🇸🎉
Oh good idea. I need a bday gift for a June 29th bday👍
Even though this was 2 years ago I really like it. I wish I had seen it earlier as I wont have time to send to the quilters but at least I can finish a couple!! thank you
I love this. Would love to see a tutorial on the big star behind you 🇺🇸
Hello Terry, I had to reply after reading your message to Misty, there is a video you’ll find on their channel. It posted Two years ago (it was for the 4th of July) so you can look for by scrolling down under the video tab on MSQC home page. I made one along with her that day. Fun and quick to make. Have a wonderful week. Chris P.S. if it wasn’t two years, scroll down to three years. It probably has a photo of it. Best wishes.
I found the video for you: czcams.com/video/GZFmOl1exMs/video.html
I love the Americana string wall hanging behind you! All of your red/white/blue pieces are gorgeous and you make it easy enough for anyone to follow. Thank you, Misty!!!
Very nice Parriotic runner, easy and beautiful. Thanks for sharing 👍
Hello! I hope you had a joyful day! I just got out of my sewing room and sat down to watch your video. I'm enjoying your content and love to learn new things. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead! Thank you for sharing this video and your time.
Thank you Misty, I just love your videos.
Good Morning Misty, This runner looks so nice. ❤️ I remember when you made the Star Quilt hanging on your wall, I made one right along with you that day 🥰 and I still love it. ❤️❤️❤️ Have a wonderful week, 🥰 Chris
P.S. I have been enjoying your new show, All My Best Wishes For You, 🥰 Chris
I’m learning to sew and working on my very first quilt. I’m taking a stitchers garden monthly class. Although I’m enjoying my class and learning a lot of new things in class, you do a very good job explaining the process. Extremely detailed and clear and precise. You just explained snowballing and how to join the strips, then showed how it’s done. Great reinforcement! Thank you so much.
Red, white and blue. Thanks Misty!
Mother-in-law always has the best advice. I love your project misty.. A must try.
I have all my supplies just waiting in my basket - I’m adding more yardage of all the 3 colors as you just never know when these colors might be needed😄😄😄👍👍.
Great way to make the star block.♥️🇦🇺

Misty you have grown and matured nicely into this new role of teaching! I love watching your tutorials!
Beautiful Misty! Star on the wall is wonderful too.
Love your teaching. You go slow enough to “get it”. Thanks.
This would make a good candidate for quilt as you go.
Great tutorial Misty! (as is usual for you)...Love ya and may God bless you and your family!
Love this and your timing! Always decorate for the holidays and I need a table runner for 4th of July! Headed to Hamilton on Friday, sure hope to meet all the lovely Doan ladies!
I am so envious! I live in SC ❤️
@@juliaraley9563 we live in Texas and driving up. I hope you get to visit some day. I am better prepared this year…I was a little overwhelmed last year.
Perfect for a gift I need to make! Thank you!
This is exactly what I was looking for a Fourth of July table runner. Thank you for this great tutorial.
I love this I'm going to try this pattern. Misty makes it look very simple. A wonderful gift idea
Spectacular! You and Jenny are the BEST instructors ever!!!! Awesome content and perfect tutorials! THANK YOU!!
Such a beautiful table runner that is so simple to make. Misty, you do a great job with these videos.
Great tutorial Misty for the table runner. You always give me ideas. May try to make one as a wall hanger with only 1 star for my front door. Hope you also have a video on the 2 other patriotic projects behind you.
The one on the right is a tutorial she did a year ago. It's called the String Stars Wall Hanging. czcams.com/video/GZFmOl1exMs/video.html
I just did a wall hanging with a wonky star 5" charm block and vertical stripes. Left the jelly roll strips long and just trimmed the ends. Didn't put a border on it, just sewed it and turned it. Did stitch in the ditch quilting.Hung it on the front porch. A neighbor loved it, so I made her one too!
The quilt on the left is Sawtooth Stars & Stripes. czcams.com/video/GZFmOl1exMs/video.html
@@apalach4862 hey, how many vertical stripes did you use?
@@AnitaSouthall 7 2.5 strips fit perfectly with the wonky star block.
So cute! Would be awesome in a miniature version as a pieced border for a Quilt of Valor
Love the wall hanging behind you could you link to that video/webpage please?

I love this table runner! I've cut my fabric and I'm ready to sew.
I'm going to have to look around and find my red, white and blue striped with stars table runner. I know that I made one several years ago.
made it and it came together reallllll y fast- it was done in a few hours - made and sandwhiched. did a smiple loopy stitch to quilt and even cut out a second one with the first. fast fast project.
I enjoyed making this along with you! So cute!❤️
Just finished watching your lovely tutorial Misty, really needed this easy and quick project Ty😊
Thanks !! I was looking for something just like this 😊
I am making this right now! Thanks for all your great tutorials, you do a wonderful job Misty!
I love how you count the inches… I do that at least twice cause I don’t trust myself with math. 😊
So great for the summer
This is a great easy to follow tutorial for the table runner Great teaching! ❤️
I’m thinking that this would make a nice “runner” to put in the wall above my front door (inside) as there is a lot of wall going up,to a very tall ceiling and that area looks so boring! A table runner would be perfect size for that area!!!!! Thanks so much Misty for another fun project. Did I say I truly love MSQC👍👍👍
Great video! You have inspired me to make a patriotic table runner.
Great tutorial. Thank you ❤️
Hello from Oklahoma
Beautiful!
This is so cute!!!
Awesome table runner
I love this project❤️
Great video. Was pretty hard to see some parts because of white fabric on white sewing machine table.
Love this, so easy!
Very good tutorial! 👏👏👏👏
I love this project! 😀 Do you have a tutorial on the large star behind you?
I also love the idea of doing one star and using it on the door 🇺🇸🇺🇲
It’s the Strings Star wall hanging. Misty did it as a Live last year.
@@harperreads thanks Becky 😊
Love this ❤❤
Hello from Tomball, Texas
just completed 2 of them today?
I have not the greatest eye site.please done put white fabric on the sewing machine when you're piecing it together.i couldn't tell what you were piecing together
Loving this table runner - but also was thinking the same thing! White on white sure made it hard for us viewers to see!
Ditto, found it annoying to look at. 🙄
Love this, Missy. If you were using yardage instead of jelly roll. How much would I need.
Love it n
Misty, I just love this idea for using up my RW&B scraps. Thank you for always coming up with the cutest patterns and ideas. Question: would it be possible to link patterns and youtube videos for the quilts you display in the background?
Is this offered in a kit
Wonderful I notice you are using a gold needle
Can you tell us what size & brand is your needle?
Do you every have problems with the bright colors bleeding in the wash.
Love your sewing table and set up! 😍 Did you have it custom made?

Hi Misty , what sewing machine are you using?
Are there written instructions for the table runner? I fail to get it all down when I’m watching.
what is the star quilt pattern behind you?
I'm with Terry, How would you make the star behind you?
It's hard to see what you're doing with the white fabric when you're working on the white extension table of the sewing machine. Would you show what you're doing on the desk instead ofwhite on white
Misty, you referred to the Block magazine; please include which season & which year, please.
It’s the last one, Spring, 2022.
Hi Misty,
