What a magnificent legacy...St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital. He made a huge contribution toward making the world a better place for so many children and their families.
Danny Thomas was an extraordinary person and humanitarian. A selfless individual that is in short demand these days. Also a great and funny entertainer! ❤
And two days before his death he recorded what would be his final TV spot for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. His remains along with his wife are interred in a chapel on the grounds of his beloved St. Jude.
I seem to remember a TV movie (?) where he sat on a just passed friend's bed, and had a beautiful monologue to his departed friend. Anyone else remember that, or have I the wrong person ?
I absolutely love Donahue. Never missed an episode. Some of the best were when he had his hilarious previous neighbor on, Erma Bombeck. Really miss these entertaining TV shows. Just political garbage on these days.
I like both of them, and Marlo, but I honestly wonder if Phil would've fallen in love with Marlo with her pre-surgically "fixed" nose. She was still pretty, but it altered her look quite dramatically.
I love Danny Thomas.. all his work still goes on through St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.. God Bless him!!

We don't have them like that anymore
I have always admired Danny Thomas. I really enjoyed this interview. He was a class act and a great entertainer. A true humanitarian.
A wonderful, incredible human being
Danny, Milton, and Bob were all awesome men !
Love Phil and Danny 😅
Danny Thomas passed away about 1 month later. RIP
How prophetic that he passed a month after this program was recorded

Just weeks before he died🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
God Bless Danny!🙏🏻🕊️
😅that man is a saint. The hospital and humanitarian work was unbelievable.
Hollywood needs to make a movie on him.😎
Mark Ruffallo maybe??
@@actownsend7288not that nutty unhinged Liberal. No thanks.
He died 30 days after this was done. (February 6, 1991)
Very sàd.
What a family they are. Danny, Phil's father-in-law and brother-in-law Tony.

The one who is on your back now.🤣🤣

@@elgeneralxx Oh, he’s referring to the photo joke that Danny makes to Phil. Funny remark!

Women are expected to look their best and changes are part of the entertain business.

Delusional people talking about "gods". But Danny was great! 😃
Yeah, God made him that way. Awesome comment.😁
Marlo had her nose fixed....
So what, who cares as long as she provided her delightful gift of laughter as an entertainer.
I'm sure she's had more than that
