That $2,500, 25lb. piece of hardware was designed for the Smith family's Bayliner. Not a wave-jumping, ocean assault boat.
Not really seeing flush surfaces there. Those railings, the wipers, the cabin door recesses and some of the other bits sticking out or in. Looks like its stealth was designed by someone who had an F117 described to him verbally over a really bad phone line.

Why didn't they show it sideways in some big waves? You'll end up taking one on the side when doing a sea rescue, if you lose power or even at night when you just can't see all of the waves. Surviving a capsize event is the key.
