Ever since I found out Delta would be flying 757's to Chicago again, this time 4-5 times a day, I knew I had to get back onboard. On my way back from Los Angeles, I took a detour via Atlanta to hop on one of the 757 flights. I even paid extra to sit by the engine and oh boy...the 757 as usual did not disappoint. It was also my first time arriving into Delta's new home at ORD in Terminal 5. Enjoy this amazing flight onboard the modern-day rocketship, the flying hot rod...the Delta 757!

The 757 is definitely one of my favorite aircrafts!
7:19 Finally got to see the new end around taxi way overhead behind runway 9L
I like the spool up on the PW2000 that deep growl always gives me chills when power is given to the engines. However the RB211 has a better buzzsaw sound, I honestly prefer both.
Great video - I love the 757. Sunset approach to O'Hare added bonus.
Thank you, the 757 is unbeatable. The sunset was incredible too.
Great video! I like that you added so many facts and details!
Thanks so much! Always doing what I can to make my videos stand out.
I, on the other hand, have been trying to catch a Delta A330 for the longest time. Luckily I did get on a China Airlines A330 last month and will upload that flight soon.
Terminal 5 at ORD already looks so great!😌
Great video! The sound of that engine is so sweet!
Thank you, yes it doesn’t get old!
I flown on the delta 757 from SEA-KOA 2021 and I love that aircraft it was really a steep takeoff.
I flew the same route a few months ago to make a trip report. The 757 is indeed a race car!
I flew in a 757 a LONG time ago and it set me back in my seat no doubt! It made the DC-10 feel sluggish. BTW that seat inline with the turbine blades, no thanks.
I can only imagine what the DC10 was like!!
DHE BEST ❤
Always buzzing with excitement about the lovely 757s.
I pretty much in between the RBs & P&Ws. Like 60% RB, 40% P&W
Had a great flight on the 75 truly a great aircraft
Absolutely a monster of a plane.
Great video! I haven't flown on the 757 for more than 20 years. I also haven't been at Terminal 5 for more than 20 years. And I've never been on Delta. My international flights have always connected through the USA on the East Coast so I've flown out of the Domestic Terminals. I fly from ORD to ATL in May and looking forward to checking out Terminal 5, the 757, and Delta. Thanks for the video.
Enjoy your experience man, thanks a lot for stopping by.
Nice trip report man! i’d love to fly the 757 at some point
Thanks a lot man! Definitely should, it’s a really cool plane.
RR! for me
Last time I flew a 757 was from San Francisco to Washington Dulles in 2014. I want to do it again. I feel like the 757 is the only plane that could fly through a hurricane and get back out Ay okay
Isn’t a coincidence that ORD, United’s hub, expanded/renovated Terminal 5 for Delta and ATL, Delta’s hub, expanded the northern section of Concourse T for United?
That has to be a coincidence, I didn’t even realize 😂
Great Video 👍, I like the PW2000's but the best sounding 757 engines are the RB211's
It’s a tough choice for me! The RB211 has an awesome spool up sound but I love the deep roar of the PW2000.
Can you do dubai airport update also love your videos
Unfortunately I don’t have enough Emirates aircraft to do DXB. Thank you so much.
I'm guessing that UA offered DL a check with enough zeros for them to move to T5. UA probably sweetened the deal by offering to pay for the T5 renovation. Is SWA gates next to DL's? Still reflecting on your trip report on flying SWA to ORD and their gate situation. BTW, I'm a RB211 fan! Looking forward to your Amtrak journey home
which tail numbers of DL’s 757-200 fleet have old Zodiac economy seats?
I’m not sure, but I will look into that and get back to you. As far as I’m aware, some of the ones with -US regs have the old seats.
How are you going to get home in champaign if you were in Chicago over a month ago
Amtrak, that video is coming this Saturday hopefully.
@@ASAviation thank you I have been watching and waiting for a comment for you and how did you get your car if it was at the airport
@@Stills1818 my dad picked it up from the airport
The 757 is definitely the king of all airplanes such a shame to see so many garbage are buses out there now also prefer the Rolls-Royce engines
