It's embarrassing to believe that professional footballers wouldn't be capable of changing formations for a new manager, if necessary ! We have more than enough players in the first squad and the academy to play whatever formation Amorim or Alonso would have wanted. It's 100% a financial reason and I won't believe anything else unless it comes from the club, which will never happen. I'm not totally sold on Slot just yet, but one thing is definite, you can't question Edwards ability to analyse the data, and if he says Slot is the man to take us forward, I'll give him my backing.
