Going through what she went through currently, felling like the church has a lot of judgement and toxicity.l go to church and come back feeling so horrible and it’s not the way l want to feel but l would remain in the church and focus on Christ at the cross for it’s not about church members behavior and l don’t go for them, this keeps me going 🙏🏻

I went through something similar. I just left the church for good last month and I’m now at a church that is gospel focused and it’s been such a blessed. I prayed and asked God to lead me to a church where His presence was because like you each time I attended the SDA church I’d leave feeling drained and discouraged.
I’m still struggling with some mental barriers I picked up from the church but each day I’m becoming more and more empowered by 1. Gods love, 2. Gods word. I only study one book and that’s the Bible.

Sister , repent and get back to SDA, before it will be to late to say sorry to God. Because your testimony can't convince me. This is the only church will proclaim the truth. I believe that.

The Third Angel's Message of Revelation 14:
Revelation 14:9-12 (KJV) And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

As I keep listening to young people who have shared their testimony on why they left, it becomes clear as in this one that, they didn't learn enough to understand the practices in Adventism. Most people are only encouraged to attending the SDA Church because of say: music, friends, pathfinder, diet etc and not the spiritual understanding of the teachings and practices from the Bible. And since there are many people like her in the church, I personally expect many to leave because of their shaky foundation.
If someone attends the SDA church and does not learn seriously, the probability of questioning things and later leaving is very high.
My heart goes out to all such people

Why, because they want to grow spiritually and have a deeper relationship with their maker? If one can’t question what they believe and find the truth in the church, God is working in them. Or continue on as is, we all know Who the final judge is. I just pray that God shows me each and every day what is right from wrong and truth from lies. The more one accepts and acts upon the more will be revealed. We need Him to guide, not man.

You are now a member of a biblically deficient religion. Members of a church that is cursed 3 times by the bible, teaches doctrines of anti-Christ, Teaches doctrines of demons and whose Spirit of Prophecy is an abomination to God is not a Christian Church. No, those who associate and believe in this church are destined to be eternally separated from Christ (Matthew 7:21-23).
The Seventh-day Adventist church is a wretched and cursed church due to its doctrines and its chief Seer. The SDA church is cursed for its false gospel (Gal. 1:6-9), cursed for its reliance on the law (Rev. 14:12) being command keepers (Gal. 3:10), teachings of anti-Christ because it denies the one final atonement of Christ (1 Jn. 2:22), a church with a founder which God declared abominable (Deut. 18:11-12) for necromancy and a church that teaches doctrines of demons (1 Tim 4:1-4) forbidding marriage and askance from foods.

It funny how people are leaving and entering different churches left right and center. I was not born Adventist and no Adventist preached me into the church. I was seeking God and His truth, and He led me to the Adventist church, not because of the people there but because He had a message for me there, I have studied the Bible with amazing friends and the peace that lives within my heart and the love of God that led me this far is the only thing that will ever keep me in this church.
Trust me I looked into a lot of denominations and non is perfect including the Adventist church because all churches are run and managed by human beings who are not perfect but loved by a perfect God. For me it has never been about what the other person’s relationship is with God but more about my relationship with God and how I can be the light 💡 that God wants me to be in someone’s life journey.
About Ellen White: of course there is a lot of things to question, the same way any other book that has ever been written including the Bible has to be questioned in order to be understood and we will not always agree with everything that has ever been said or written. I have followed the health message and the benefits have been tremendous, to that extent I agree with the health message because whether we claim that it’s not biblical, in my life experience it has worked and that is all that matters for me (choose what works for you, because you can not embrace everything and everyone in this short life). About her writings, I would say in every church there are people who have written books and this will not stop until humanity ceases to exist. People still write books to explain some bible verses and themes, why don’t we question the necessity of that too? I don’t see anything wrong In Ellen White or anyone else writing books to explain their beliefs and understand about the Bible, the same way I don’t mind listening to anyone talking about their understanding or believe in the Bible, and people choosing to believe what ever they are convinced to be truth whether as individuals or a corporate body.
I am a very open minded Adventist and I don’t believe blindly, I question a lot of things including trying to understand the people that claim that the Adventist church is full of lies. Most of the people I have listened do have left the church is because of church members who are very legalistic and Ellen White issues. I’m here because of the God of the Sabbath and because I want to love and worship my God in the way that He wants to be loved (“ If you love me keep my commandments”). All I am saying is hold on to what you are convinced to be truth. For some of us, Adventism has helped us know God better and have a personal relationship. I’m not looking for perfection in anyone’s or any church because I know we are all struggling and we all desperately need the Lord.

This is truly a heartwarming story! I'm happy that you decided to make it public, despite and inspite of any backlash from your former church members. While listening, I found myself nodding in agreement, saying "Ohh and Ummm,"out loud! 😃
I have never been Adventist - but I have read similar stories, listened to similar testimonies. I have friends who are Adventists and never questioned their choice, though Adventism never appealed to me. There was a time when I felt guilty worshipping on a Sunday so I started reading the Bible, in earnest, to understand it and find out for myself whether I had to "keep the Sabbath" which my Adventist friend told me I should. Anyway, it was when we started discussing Scripture and having opposite views - I couldn't understand why, for we read the same Bible - and having heard the name EGW'S connection to Adventism, I started reading bits and pieces of her writings. It was then I understood why my friend and I couldn't agree!
You have done well in questioning doctrines that didn't make sense to you and then going ahead to find out the truth for yourself! I applaud you, my sister! May God bless you and your family as you continue your journey with Him. Best Wishes 🙏🏾

Because the SDA church proclaims the truth, it will hurt others (like you) but it doesn't matter because truth is truth and many people leave SDA church simply because the doctrines, and the way SDA church runs, has no place for their evil motives. SDA church is the ark today, just as there was only one ark in the Flood. Those outside the ark perished in the Flood, because anyone outside the ark was a rebel to the Creator. Today is the same. Remember, you are not in the Ark because the ark saves you, but because you are saved (i .e., you accepted Jesus truly). Thus, it is clear those who walk out of the true Church of God did not fully accept God.

It's not about a particular church. Church does not save. The activities that churches practices do not save.
It's a bout been regenerated and transformed by the Holy Sprit (To be born again) One has to be born again which is a personal encounter of Jesus Christ, convictions and your condition as a sinner.
Jesus said unless one is born again not unless one belongs to a certain denomination. When you stand before God, the church people won't be there.
John 3:5"5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
When you are born again, The Holy Spirit will indwell in you
Romans 8:9" But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."
In you read Revelation chapter 2-3, you will find letters written to (the angel of each church) different churches in the first century. Four out of six churches had weakness and sins. SAD has more than 97,000 churches globally. Are all these churches preaching the truth for salvation of souls?
Only the one who does the will of my Father will enter the kingdom of heaven, not a certain church.
Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Verse 23 "And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Jesus has to know you not the other way around. And only a person whom you are in a relationship with will know you. If one is not in a relationship with Christ through the Holy Spirit but depends on what the church teaches is blind. I am not saying that you are blind, but only those Jesus knows are saved and not the church goers.
The one who establishes and anoint his children and He gives them the Spirit as a guarantee ( Proof, evidence as a deposit that we are His walking in His salvation through the gospel and not the Church)
2 Corinthians 1:21-22 "Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

I grow weary teaching Adventists about Adventism , but here goes. In the late 1980's the General Conference commissioned a faithful Adventist to determine the plagiarism of Ellen White's writings. The results were published in a summary manner in The Ministry Magazine of October 1990. And the their Ellen White was exposed. Here are a few select quotes from the Ministry Magazine:
“Of the 15 chapters' 2,624 sentence units, we found 823 (31 percent) to be in some degree clearly dependent upon material appearing in our 500-plus literary sources.”
Veltman, Fred. “The Desire of the Ages project; the data” Ministry. October 1990, p. 6
“As we carefully studied the nature and degree of literary dependency of these early materials, which included Ellen White's personal journals, it became very clear to us that it was Ellen White herself who was copying from the sources.”
Veltman, Fred. “The Desire of the Ages project; the data” Ministry. October 1990, p. 6
“The content of Ellen White's commentary on the life and ministry of Christ, The Desire of Ages, is for the most part derived rather than original.”

      Quote from Ministry Magazine:
After eight years of study, Dr. Veltman calculated that only 31 percent of the sentences in The Desire of Ages contained any “verbal similarity” to other works and that the average level of literary dependency of these was slightly above “loose paraphrase.” His considered opinion was that Ellen White had not plagiarized. He wrote the following: “A writer can only be legitimately charged with plagiarism when that writer’s literary methods contravene the established practices of the general community of writers producing works of the same literary genre within a comparable cultural context. In the process of doing our research we found that Ellen White’s sources had previously used each other in the same way that she later used them. At times the parallels between the sources were so strong that we had difficulty deciding which one Ellen White was using.”
Here’s the link for the full article. 31% of one of her books is a very small percentage of her entire writings. The critics who accused her even used common biblical passage as “evidence” and she did the exact same things the other authors were doing with each other. Your argument is disingenuous. She did not plagiarize a single per the rules of her day and did what everyone else was doing to establish rhetorical foundation for the points she made through inspiration in her writings.

The Bible refers to two Jerusalems. Earthly and spiritual. Jerusalem was largely used to refer to the “inhabitants” of Jerusalem (Isaiah 5:3).
Besides, God used to refer to Jerusalem as His “woman” (wife) and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem or Israel as the seed of the “woman” or His children. They were His sons and daughters.
As the capital of the Jewish nation, Jerusalem was often used to represent, not only to its the inhabitants, but also to the whole Israel as an entity (Isaiah 60, 61, 62, 66, etc).
When Jerusalem was desolated in 586 B.C.E. and the Jews taken to servitude in Babylon, Jerusalem was DIVORCED by her husband, Y.H.W.H. God. It also lost its children to the 70 years' servitude. Thus its “land” began to be referred to as “desolate”, “barren” and “repudiated” (Isaiah 54:1-7).
When captivity ended in 536 B.C.E., Jerusalem was repopulated. However, this restoration did not fulfill the TRUE restoration of Jerusalem, for Jerusalem continued to be in servitude and without HUSBAND.
The apostle Paul under inspiration, applied the prophecy at Isaiah 54:1 to the SPIRITUAL Jerusalem which was instituted on the Pentecost of the year 31 C.E. at Galatians 4:26, 27. This meant that, all along from 586 C.E. up to the day of Pentecost in 31 C.E., God was no husband of Jerusalem; Jerusalem and her children were in BONDAGE due to the consequences of the curses in the Law book (Deuteronomy 28:15-68; 31:24-26). Those curses were broken at Calvary through the death of Jesus (Galatians 3:10-13).
But, the question is: From the inception of Jerusalem to the Day of Pentecost, Jerusalem had no believing child, all were unfaithful? All had been in BONDAGE?
Far from it, the “Jerusalem above”, or the “mother” of all believers included also those who died in faith BEFORE the Cross (Hebrews 9:15; 11:13-16; 13:14). The reason why Isaiah stated that Jerusalem became “barren” and didn't bear children ever since she was repudiated by her husband, God until they were re-united. The MAJORITY were born for BONDAGE.
When “Jerusalem above” replaced earthly Jerusalem, the latter was repudiated to be no more God's wife FOREVER and EVER (Galatians 4:30). Then, persecution caused by Satan the devil STARTED and spiritual Israel (the inhabitants of Jerusalem above on earth) were mercilessly persecuted as FORETOLD (Mathew 10:16-23; 24:9; John 16:1-3; Galatians 4:29). How did the persecution get started?
John, the beloved apostle of Jesus was shown this “Jerusalem above”, God's “woman”, and how it was persecuted at the hands of God's enemies (Revelation 12:1-17).
The apostles had constantly FORETOLD the great apostasy after their death. They even said that it was working in secret during their day (2Thess. 2:7; 2:1-3; 1Corinth 1:10-13; 15:12; 2Tim. 2:16-18; 1John 2:18,19; Revelation 2:6; 2:14-20 ). But the apostles constituted the restraint (Acts 20:29, 30; Rom. 16:17-19; 2John 1:9-11).
When the last apostle disappeared from the face of the earth, the foretold great apostasy flourished all over the world. The Gentiles outnumbered the true believers and conquered spiritual Israel into SPIRITUAL captivity. False doctrines started to be taught in the churches of APOSTATE Christianity including the immortality of the soul, eternal torment, indulgences, the prayer through the dead, the images, the sun worship, etc. Those who stood up for the TRUTH were ruthlessly persecuted. Thus “Jerusalem” and its “temple” SANCTUARY were “TRAMPLED UPON” for 1260 years as FORETOLD at Revelation 11:1-3.
However, in 1844, Jesus CAME. Where and why did He come? He came to the “temple” SANCTUARY to cleanse it and to chase away those who defiled it, the Gentiles or APOSTATE christians. He also came for the INVESTIGATIVE judgment on the “house of God” (Mal. 3:1-3). Just as Jesus came to CLEANSE the earthly temple SANCTUARY in Jerusalem in 31 C.E., and chased those religious leaders who defiled it and judged the nation (Matthew 21; 23), He also came and CLEANSED the heavenly TEMPLE sanctuary in Jerusalem above (Revelation 11:1-3).
Just as a remnant of FLESHLY Jews was delivered from Babylon starting from 536 B.C.E. (Isaiah 10:20-23) AFTER Jerusalem had been trampled upon in Babylon for 70 years, so did Jesus deliver a REMNANT from spiritual Babylon in 1844, when Babylon the Great experienced a spiritual fall (Revelation 14:8). This is so sad..i'm really sorry for the experience you had to go through my sister!!
God loves you and I believe you are on a yourney to understand the word of God to understand the bible for yourself.
Someone ask a good question and yes, before anyone ask yes I'm an Adventist and I wasn't always a sda. I didn't grew up in the church. But I just wish I had found this church earlier in my walk to find truth in God's word. I believe you are on a yourney.
I can relate to some of the things you said.....
I don't believe if you leave the building that means your a heathen or lost for ever.
The sda are very nice people, I had my critics before about this church and ask a lot of why's?? just like you... I'm mean the sister tina!
Someone ask the q what has the church done to you?
And I had to comment and say something about my own experience in my local church:
      1. Members who left the church left it because they were hurt by someone in the church and I was also hurt.
      2. Many did not experience the love from others as they should....as the bible states "to love one another as Christ loved you❤"
      3. Others just didn't study the bible.."here a little and there a little" to understand the words God of for themself..they just relied on there own thinking of the bible and didn't ask the Holy Spirit to lead them to all truth.
      4. When I came I didn't know much about Ellen White, but I was fascinated about how she knew the word of God so well when they quoted her..one day I told member of sda church who also was taking the same bible class... to show me this woman Ellen White, tell me where she's at so that I can go and visit her..yes I literally said that.
I saw this lack of understanding of some members in the sda of how to study her writing which was inspired by God. There is no way a child with a grade like her would know the thinks she knew and write books in health that helped many people with cancer, blood pressure, sugar problems here in my country Suriname.
Humanly is not possible unless she was inspired by God.
What I'm saying is if you study the bible you will experience the love of God and will understand the writings which simply points or magnifies the greater "light" the Word of God...I came to understand more about things like:
      -The character of God
      -How someone can be saved.
      -State of the death
I had a different view of Gods character before I started studying his word with sda and I also had a different view of the state of the death
You must understand that I came from a dark place, from necromancy group, from ancestors worship, for living for Satan. Some of my family members are freemasons.
Untill I was saved by Christ Jesus.
All the above is my own experience...and my sister I will keep in my prayers...and I know He will lead you as He did it for me. Shalom!!!

I am a Sdanot only because of the Sabbath, but l find other churches apart from not accepting the 7th day Sabbath, they they teach a lot of false doctine eg that the dead is in heaven and knows what is happening still. Yet the bible says the dead knows nothing, the bible also speaks of a resurrection. If every dead person goes to heaven who is Going to resurrected when Christ returns. Or since they are already in heaven with him, he has no reason yo return.

Yes, Ellen White books also moved me. Moved me to revulsion as I read her contradictions of the bible. Enjoy!
“Christ left His position in the heavenly courts and came to this earth to live the life of human beings. This sacrifice He made in order to show that Satan’s charge against God is false-that it is possible for man to obey the laws of God’s kingdom.”
      White, Ellen. Manuscript 140, 1903, par. 27
      [Contradicts: Matthew 1:21-23; 18:11’ Luke 19:10; John 1:29; 12:46; Timothy 1:15; Hebrews 9:26]
“Those who accept the Saviour, however sincere their conversion, should never be taught to say or to feel that they are saved.”
White, Ellen. Christ's Object Lessons. Michigan: Review and Herald Publishing, 1908, p. 155
      [Contradicts: Ephesians 2:8-9]
“Satan, who is the father of lies, deceived Adam in a similar way, telling him that he need not obey God, that he would not die if he transgressed the law.”
White, Ellen. Evangelism. Hagerstown: Review and Herald Publishing Association, 1946/1973, p. 598
      [Contradicts: I Timothy 2:14]
“It is this coming, and not his second advent to the earth, that was foretold in prophecy to take place at the termination of the 2300 days, in 1844. Attended by heavenly angels, our great High Priest enters the holy of holies, and there appears in the presence of God, to engage in the last acts of his ministration in behalf of man,-to perform the work of investigative Judgment, and to make an atonement for all who are shown to be entitled to its benefits.”
White, Ellen. The Great Controversy. Oakland: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1888, p. 480
      [Contradicts: Romans 5:10-11]
“In ancient times God spoke to men by the mouth of prophets and apostles. In these days He speaks to them by the testimonies of His Spirit.”
White, Ellen. Testimonies for the Church. Vol. 4. Mountain View: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1948, pp. 147-148
      [Contradicts: Hebrews 1:1-2]
“Too late they see that the Sabbath of the fourth commandment is the seal of the living God. Too late they see the true nature of their spurious Sabbath and the sandy foundation upon which they have been building. They find that they have been fighting against God. Religious teachers have led souls to perdition while professing to guide them to the gates of Paradise. Not until the day of final accounts will it be known how great is the responsibility of men in holy office and how terrible are the results of their unfaithfulness. Only in eternity can we rightly estimate the loss of a single soul. Fearful will be the doom of him to whom God shall say: Depart, thou wicked servant.”
White, Ellen. The Great Controversy. Oakland: Pacific Press Publishing Association, 1888, p. 640
      [Contradicts: Ephesians 1:13]

A BRILLIANT testimony, discussion and honesty. I wanted to be with you in the dialogue as a duo as I was constantly discussing point by point and agreeing on and on. I am now 71, been a Christian for 50 years, a SDA for 11 (20-31) and saw the red flags early on. I knew there were serious issues. My life with God has been astonishing with miracles of Biblical proportions as Jesus performed them - I keep a journal now over 600 pages of events that prove this to be true.
I could go on for hours in support of your decision, and why SDA's are not the place to be, just as the Jews in Jerusalem were shunned by Jesus. But here is where I divert from the crowds in and out.
Jesus taught his disciples the Kingdom of God, to experience it and to DO the very same works that Jesus did - the supernatural. And that is what I have done and learning more and more each day: moving weather systems, putting out forest fires by prayer alone, healing people, divine intervention, blinding eyes, getting directions as Elijah would get them, being attacked and fighting off demonic spirits, opening the Bible at random for specific answers (over 1,000 times), prophetic directions and judgements on certain bad people who are doing a disservice to God as you pointed out. The list goes on and on.
My goal is to so attain the same capabilities of Jesus and the disciples that the miracles alone will act as proof of this divine power within and let the others do the talking. I will shut-up.
I have a group of about 15 of the worlds best teachers to listen to who are bang on and have a proven track record of success. Listen to them and only them - he best are:. Curry Blake, John G Lake, Smith Wigglesworth, Charles Spurgeon, George Mueller, John McArthur (be a bit careful but he is a brilliant scholar), the Chosen TV series (brilliant), Rick Renner, Kenneth Haigan and more.
Absolutely stay away from the false prophets, teachers and healers like Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Ken Copeland, Cevro Dollar, Jakes, Osteen and mega church profiteers. they will lead you out.
You are on the right path. Now wash your hands of them, dont hate them, but instead set a new goal to replicate Jesus and let your actions do the talking. Remember this: People are blinded and rather sheep followers, not very bright. It is easy to be brainwashed if you do not compare it to the original and these brainwashed people will be the first to attack. Satan knows this and uses them to take you down. That is the sign of being a genuine Christian - being persecuted. It shows the demons are aware of your direction and is set out with a bounty on your head. That is good news because NOW you ARE the genuine article.
    Good work!
    Dave

Do people like you really understand the book of Daniel and Revelation? I believe that one of the main reasons for such people as you leaving SDA church is either you don't want to understand those two books or you have never understood the context of the the two books at any point in your time in the SDA church. This is because such people who were attending SDA church were not really taking the Word of God seriously and went to church with personal expectations and not submitting to the will of God. The result of such behaviour is evident and which is simply: exiting from the church.

All my life I heard that leaving Adventism was "throwing out the baby with the bathwater." I have heard this statement for about 50 years or so. But I do remember the cold chill it sent through my spine! For all I could think of was Christmas and Baby Jesus.
Now in my old age I've come to realize that Adventists equate their salvation with their church membership.
Get this: For them the baby isn't Christ at all! The baby is CHURCH MEMBERSHIP!
"Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater" literally means, Don't throw out your church membership -- your ticket to heaven -- just because:
      * "Prexy Bob" Folkenberg got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Not to mention his other hand, both feet, his head, and especially
      his belly.
      * "Prexy Neal" Wilson lied on the witness stand in the Merikay case.
      * Ellen G. White -- under the direction of the Holy Spirit, of course, of course -- went down to her local Christian bookstore, stole the brain children of others, then re-penned them over her own name without giving them credit, much less payment.
      * Des Ford was defrocked and economically "burned at the stake" for speaking the truth at Glacier View. (Shades of the stoning of Stephen? Not that Des is any Stephen! Not even close!)
      * The Cookie Monster (McKee of "the massacre at Southern Adventist University"
fame) sells Little Debbie "health foods" in nearly every supermarket in the country (USA supermarkets and stores).
      * The far-right-wing "historical Adventist" vinyard owners of Lodi, California and
elsewhere sell their "table grapes" to wineries for to increase the "skid row" wino population.
      * Airing the "dirty laundry" of sexual molestation of SDA children by their own
parents is a greater sin by far than washing said laundry.
Don't do it, my friend. "Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater" just because of these minor details.
To be really "safe to save," don't even look at perpetration in the church. Look away. Better yet, close your eyes! Stop your ears! Tie your hands behind our back! Judge not that ye be not judged!
For we are ALL doing these things. Or would if we could.
I tell thee the cross of Christ could never be as important to you as your CHURCH
      MEMBERSHIP!
Let Jesus go if you have to, but keep carrying that card with The Three Angels on it.
      Matthew 22 (KJV):
34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducee's to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the and the prophets.

Seventh-day Adventists who are baptized believers in Adventist doctrine (28 Beliefs) are not Christian. Adventism teaches doctrines which are cursed in the bible. For example, the Adventist gospel message of 3 Angels Messages is not found in the bible and according to Gal. 1:6-9 this gospel is cursed. A church which preaches a gospel which is cursed is not Christian. Adventism is not Christian and not part of the larger Protestant Christian community.
Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

No, just read Ellen White and that is enough for most to leave. Here is just one example proving EGW is a false prophet. At a conference in Battle Creek in 1856 she gave a "vision" where she said some of these at this conference would be translated to heaven. *Spoiler alert, none were translated to heaven and all are now food for worms:*
“But we were yet to pass through another severe trial. At the conference a very solemn vision was given me. *I saw that some of those present would be food for worms, some subjects for the seven last plagues, and some would be translated to heaven at the second coming of Christ, without seeing death.”*

I've noticed that a considerable number of SDAs simply fade away from Adventism, often becoming entirely agnostic to idea of in God in general, and Christianity in particular. Of those who deny Christianity altogether, many of these will attempt to fuse in some sort of "the spiritual" into their worldview, often with New Age concepts. (Why this latter condition happens so frequently is still a mystery to me).
Probably the most famous former-Adventist is D. M. Canright. He was personally groomed by James and Ellen White, so when he broke with them is was a major deal. Canright wrote a fantastic book countering the false beliefs in the sect entitled *"Seventh-day Adventism Renounced"*. In that book he has this to say about those who leave Adventism:
"A strong argument with Adventists is, that most of those who leave them become infidels, as all know. But, after long watching, I became satisfied that *it is Adventism which has made them infidels* . Look at Romanism. Wherever it has had sway a while, it filled the land with infidels. Go among the Mormons at Salt Lake. Large numbers of their children are becoming infidels. The natural rebound from fanaticism and superstition is into infidelity and scepticism. Right here in Otsego [Michigan] we have several infidels, the grown-up children of Adventists. I know them and meet them all over the country, and their numbers are increasing. I feel sure that the ripe fruit of Adventism in the years to come will be a generation of doubters".

Hipparchus, whose work primarily took place between 147 and 127 B.C., proposed dividing the day into 24 equinoctial hours, based on the 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness observed on equinox days
God’s time was changed from Gen 1 vs 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day.

      Rev 13:4
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
This verse is proving if you obey the beast which changed the time and law you shall worship it and the dragon which is Satan . the beast is Roman Catholic, you can google for a church which kills God’s people and disciples for proof.

You are now in danger of knowing things for example the Sabbath God is now looking a fruit if he came before you keep it, l don’t lie to you will miss the kingdom of heaven (God forgives days of knowing)
If you know that Sunday was not ordained as a holy day by God why do you want to die on false teachings busy worrying about EGW books you do not read and you don’t understand , but you are not worried by keeping God’s laws. If don’t know ,let me tell you Satan wants everyone to be destroyed, but because of Jesus not all of us shall be destroyed. Everyone on this comments have a mission some are for Satan, those who oppose what the bible, those who first look for wrong things of other living where they are wrong and they justify themselves.
Some they know that Saturday is the sabbath but they say God can save us because many people don’t do it, if you are like that hear this Only Lot and his family where righteous in Sodom and it was destroyed because of not having ten righteous people and this is the proof that correct things are only done by few people
Proof of Sunday is the mark of the beast.
We first need to identify mark of God Ex 31:12-17
12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.
14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

@@mvurwimainsdachurch Please forgive the following long answer here.
Do you realize that Islam has been attempting to wear out the Saints of the Most High for over 1400 years? In the first 100 years after Muhammad's death, Islam had destroyed 70% of the known Christian world. In 732 AD this supposedly peaceful religion was all the way up into France before Charles Martel finally put a halt on their Islamic expansion. Spain would spend almost 800 years trying to drive out their Muslim overlords who had enslaved them.
Think about all the similarities to the scriptural description. It has a Beast system led by the commands of a False Prophet. Islam has a built in relationship to Church and State, and they have always functioned as one in the same. Islamic countries enforce Islam on their people to the point of capital punishment. Islam has no regard for women, and a woman is considered have the value half of a man.
To this day, Islam persecutes Christianity like no other. The Center for the Study of Global Christianity has done extensive research on Christian martyrdom, both historical and contemporary. They estimate that just between the years 2005 and 2015 there were 900,000 Christian martyrs worldwide - an average of 90,000 per year.
The Eschatological system that the Seventh-day Adventists follow is known as Historicism, which was developed during the time of the reformers to explain what they saw as the primary players of the book of Revelation and Daniel. Catholicism is at the center of the evil in this perspective. But historicism is built upon the unfolding history from the view of Western Civilization and does not look much beyond it's own walls in this paradigm.
The Eastern Church has had it's own share of physical persecution, and is still currently suffering daily under the threat of Islam. The Eastern Church utilizes a similar eschatology known as Neo-Historicism which views the church from the Eastern perspective where both Islam and Roman Catholicism have played their parts. It also considers the persecution suffered by Christians in other parts of the world (such as Hindu persecution against Christianity).
If you want to get a different perspective please query Neo-Historicism. Also I commend a query for *political Islam* . Here under a google search you can find a short series of audio lectures that will give you a quick study of how Islam operates. (These are presented by Dr. Bill Warner).

D.M. Canright became an infidel and died an infidel not because of the Adventist Church but because of his own corrupted heart. Read the history of his final years and what he had to say about Ellen White. All who believe that leaving the Adventist church is the way to a greater spiritual experience with God are severely deceived and have not truly experience the truth of God's word. I grew up in the Sunday church for more than two decades before I became a Seventh-day Adventist and while I will admit that there are problems in the church. It is not the church that is the problem it is the unconsecrated people attending the church, and remember at best we are all flawed. The Lord is working to perfect His church and we are not there yet. What SDAs believe is inline with scriptures more than any other denomination. But the majority cannot see or accept this because they look at the Word of God through human perspective and through the lens of God's word. One of the principles that SDAs employs in study ing scriptures especially bible prophecy is that the bible must interpret its own symbols. We also use the "line upon line, here a little there a little" principle which helps to get a better understanding of what the scripture is saying and to not fall victim to our own personal interpretation. How many times have you heard persons say, "Well that is my interpretation". This is one of the reasons why there are so many churches, but Jesus is coming back not for many churches but his bride without spot or wrinkle.

This REMNANT that EMERGED from Babylon the Great or spiritual “wilderness” (Revelation 12:6, 14) came to be later known as the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH (Revelation 10:1-11).

Sister I totally get you. I am 59 now, became Adventist at 12. Like many as young adults that fall away for a while. When I first began there was no command to be vegetarian and though I knew about Ellen ( grandma had all yer books to ) she wasn't much of a discussion.. Which suited me fine, believe in Yeshua I did, believe in Ellen I never did.
When I came back I liked Pastor Doug but soon discovered that church politics got the better of the remnant. What else I see is the Church of Ellen, I have seen quite a few SDA quote Ellen when trying to discuss beliefs. I was talking to one that believes in Rapture pre tribe, anyway they can quote some Ellen but maybe only one from bible. Don't give your self over to Satan, keep your beliefs, be a church of one if you have to. The scriptures are real, God is real the true Sabbath is as well. For me it was easy to move one step forward on my spiritual journey. I want to worship how Yeshua and his disciples did, wasn't hard to look to Messianic Judaism. They go by Messianic communities these days. We kept most there rules anyway, except the fun ones, which God called his appointed time's know as the feast days. I have found some good online places I worship at this moment. In my study both Bible and history and discovered ( when Paul was arrested ), they said he was the leader of the Sect of Nazarenes. History records it was the people in Antioch that first called them Christian, later a Roman emperor declared they were Christians. Now I say I am a Nazarine, not because want to belong to the church, I don't really, but I think it's because I love God and I find my mind stays on him by walking in his foot steps. Check out these two sites, one will talk about Nazarenes. 119 Ministries is Messianic but they have over 400 videos of good, sound teaching.. when I began locking into it to know the Holy Spirit began to get happy. I can now feel the spirit anytime I want and what a wonderful feeling. I know I am going the right direction now and millions of SDA, Jews and Islam are converting to Messianic. The Holy spirit is speaking to his people, calling them home.

    Romans 9
25 As indeed he says in Hoshea,
    “Those who were not my people I will call my people;
    her who was not loved I will call loved;
26 and in the very place where they were told,
    ‘You are not my people,’
there they will be called sons of the living God!”
27 But Yesha‘yahu, referring to Isra’el, cries out,
“Even if the number of people in Isra’el is as large
as the number of grains of sand by the sea,
only a remnant will be saved.
28 For Adonai will fulfill his word on the earth
    with certainty and without delay.”
    ===========
Just for you, lucky I studied the Remnant the other day as I got in a convo with an SDA woman. She told me her proof, 1 bible quotes an 10 Ellen quotes. She thinks she. Won even after reading my purely biblical account. Sorry it's long.
    GOD'S TRUE REMNANT
    Romans 11
1 “In that case, I say, isn’t it that God has repudiated his people?” Heaven forbid! For I myself am a son of Isra’el, from the seed of Avraham, of the tribe of Binyamin. 2 God has not repudiated his people, whom he chose in advance. Or don’t you know what the Tanakh says about Eliyahu? He pleads with God against Isra’el, 3 “Adonai, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars, and I’m the only one left, and now they want to kill me too!” 4 But what is God’s answer to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not knelt down to Ba‘al.” 5 It’s the same way in the present age: there is a remnant, chosen by grace. 6 (Now if it is by grace, it is accordingly not based on legalistic works; if it were otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.) 7 What follows is that Isra’el has not attained the goal for which she is striving. The ones chosen have obtained it, but the rest have been made stonelike, 8 just as the Tanakh says,
“God has given them a spirit of dullness -
    eyes that do not see
and ears that do not hear,
right down to the present day.”
    9 And David says,
“Let their dining table become for them
a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a punishment.
10 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can’t see,
    with their backs bent continually.”
11 “In that case, I say, isn’t it that they have stumbled with the result that they have permanently fallen away?” Heaven forbid! Quite the contrary, it is by means of their stumbling that the deliverance has come to the Gentiles, in order to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Moreover, if their stumbling is bringing riches to the world - that is, if Isra’el’s being placed temporarily in a condition less favored than that of the Gentiles is bringing riches to the latter - how much greater riches will Isra’el in its fullness bring them!
13 However, to those of you who are Gentiles I say this: since I myself am an emissary sent to the Gentiles, I make known the importance of my work 14 in the hope that somehow I may provoke some of my own people to jealousy and save some of them! 15 For if their casting Yeshua aside means reconciliation for the world, what will their accepting him mean? It will be life from the dead!
16 Now if the hallah offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole loaf. And if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you - a wild olive - were grafted in among them and have become equal sharers in the rich root of the olive tree, 18 then don’t boast as if you were better than the branches! However, if you do boast, remember that you are not supporting the root, the root is supporting you. 19 So you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 True, but so what? They were broken off because of their lack of trust. However, you keep your place only because of your trust. So don’t be arrogant; on the contrary, be terrified! 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, he certainly won’t spare you! 22 So take a good look at God’s kindness and his severity: on the one hand, severity toward those who fell off; but, on the other hand, God’s kindness toward you - provided you maintain yourself in that kindness! Otherwise, you too will be cut off! 23 Moreover, the others, if they do not persist in their lack of trust, will be grafted in; because God is able to graft them back in. 24 For if you were cut out of what is by nature a wild olive tree and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted back into their own olive tree!
25 For, brothers, I want you to understand this truth which God formerly concealed but has now revealed, so that you won’t imagine you know more than you actually do. It is that stoniness, to a degree, has come upon Isra’el, until the Gentile world enters in its fullness; 26 and that it is in this way that all Isra’el will be saved. As the Tanakh says,
    “Out of Tziyon will come the Redeemer;
he will turn away ungodliness from Ya‘akov
27 and this will be my covenant with them, . . .
when I take away their sins.”
28 With respect to the Good News they are hated for your sake. But with respect to being chosen they are loved for the Patriarchs’ sake, 29 for God’s free gifts and his calling are irrevocable. 30 Just as you yourselves were disobedient to God before but have received mercy now because of Isra’el’s disobedience; 31 so also Isra’el has been disobedient now, so that by your showing them the same mercy that God has shown you, they too may now receive God’s mercy. 32 For God has shut up all mankind together in disobedience, in order that he might show mercy to all.
33 O the depth of the riches
and the wisdom and knowledge of God!
    How inscrutable are his judgments!
    How unsearchable are his ways!
34 For, ‘Who has known the mind of the Lord?
    Who has been his counselor?’
35 Or, ‘Who has given him anything
and made him pay it back?’
36 For from him and through him
and to him are all things.
To him be the glory forever!
    Amen.

The Nazarenes (or Nazoreans; Greek: Ναζωραῖοι, Nazōraioi)[1] were an early Jewish Christian sect in first-century Judaism. The first use of the term is found in the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 24:5) of the New Testament, where Paul the Apostle is accused of being a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes ("πρωτοστάτην τε τῆς τῶν Ναζωραίων αἱρέσεως") before the Roman procurator Antonius Felix at Caesarea Maritima by Tertullus.[2] At that time, the term simply designated followers of Jesus of Nazareth, as the Hebrew term נוֹצְרִי‎ (nôṣrî),[3] and the Arabic term نَصَارَى (naṣārā),[4] still do.

The book of hebrews is trying to get Jewish Christians to put down the book of law. Obviously the Ten Commandments still applies, but the book of law was not covered by Blood so it is discretionary seeing that we are of the priesthood. I have started going to a Messianic assembly and it is awesome how so many people have been drawn into the movement from different denominations. I love how we study straight from the Torah and prophets. It is beautiful that so much more makes sense that before I would just read without understanding. The prodigal son parable also makes more sense knowing that Yahweh is still waiting for His son to come home and not finding a replacement for him. Shalom

This REMNANT that EMERGED from Babylon the Great or spiritual “wilderness” (Revelation 12:6, 14) came to be later known as the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH (Revelation 10:1-11).
Do NOT BE ACCOMPLICE TO APOSTATES !!!!

@@jeanberchmansngendakuriyo2814 Tell me how the Gentiles defiled a HEAVENLY sanctuary? Nothing happened in 1844 except a failed prophecy and an attempt by a prideful group of people who couldn't admit their mistake, to cover it up by creating a false doctrine. Daniel 8 is about Alexander the Great, four kingdoms coming out of his kingdom after his death (Macedonia, Thrace, the Seleucid and Ptolemy kingdoms), and a little horn coming out of one of those kingdoms (Antiochus out of the Seleucid kingdom). Antiochus desecrated the Jewish Temple and exactly 2300 evening and mornings later it was restored by the Maccabees. The event is actually memorialized in the Jewish holiday called Hanukkah. (And the word "cleansed" isn't actually in the text. The earthly Temple was not cleansed. It was RESTORED ("sadaq") to its rightful state. There is absolutely NOTHING in this passage about Jesus entering into the Most Holy Place applying His blood on the heavenly mercy seat. Jesus enter into the Most Holy, to appear in the presence of God for us, at His ascension. Atonement was COMPLETED on the cross.
CONTRARY to EGW and her church, Jesus said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment; but is passed from death unto life" John 5:24.
God may be judging Adventists now, but He is NOT judging His Church, those who believe in His finished work on the cross.
Adventism is actually CONTRARY to the Gospel.
It REPLACES Jesus our spiritual Sabbath rest with a day of worship one day a week.
It REPLACES the Holy Spirit as the SEAL of God with that same day of worship.
It REPLACES the Holy Spirit who leads all believers into all truth and righteousness with a list of ten commandments given only to the nation of Israel.
It REPLACES the prophetic Word of God as the Testimony of Jesus, with the writings of a false prophet.
It DENIES the finished work of Christ on the cross.
Adventism is a cult that emerged out is the Second Great Awakening along with Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Christian Science. Not only that, but Adventism also spawned several other cults such as the Worldwide Church of God, the Church of Philadelphia, Christadelphians, Church of God Seventh Day, Primative Advent Christian Church, etc. etc. etc.

I was baptised into my SDA church in Hong Kong a year ago and it has been the most proud and fulfilling decision of my life. It’s not about being a good adventist, but being a righteous and faithful child of God. May we always be reminded that while church is a place the real church are us. You and me. Do not let tangible church define your faith. I have a great community of SDA community, and I love keeping sabbath and learning biblical truths of SDA beliefs. I wish I could be there for you as your family in Christ, not just an Adventist. So sorry for your experience. I pray God’s guidance over your heart. He is always there for you, no matter the church community or members. Please remember to always go to Him and the bible for His words.

My friend, no matter which church or whatever denomination you belong to, if you have immersively in spirit & faith accepted Christ as your saviour, you are a Christian. Fear the Lord for it is only up to Him to judge who is righteous or of His kingdom. God is just and calls us His children. If you have a relationship with Him, He calls you by your name and communicates with you.
You may want to check again SDA’s beliefs are with Bible. I don’t know why you feel this way, because they are in-fact biblical. If the 3 angels message wasn’t in the bible, I would grow skepticism, but it is in the bible. Read Revelation 14:6 for 1st angel message. 14:8 for 2nd angel message, and 14:9 for 3rd angel message. Go through bible commentaries to cross check or further evaluation. You do not have to believe what others have laid out for you, the pastor, closest friend or things, but always believe the bible, as the scriptures are God breathed and comes from Him.
And I don’t know how you interpreted Galatians 1:6-9 but I wanted to remind you the heart of gospel ”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭‬‬ God loves us sooo much. Let us as followers of Christ not seperate and condemn each other but serve Him in unity so as many of us can be saved.

@@realitytalk I have studied non-Christian religions for decades. Adventists are jut one of many. I read your noble goal of wanting to love Jesus. Virtually all false religion will profess a belief and love of Christ. But the next question to ask is; Which Christ? It comes as a surprise to many that there are many, many Christs' and the Apostle Paul was very concerned with the Corinth church and that they many accept a fake Christ:
2 Corinthians 11:3-4 ESV (3) But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. (4) *For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed,* or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.
The Seventh-day Adventist Christ is one of those fake or different Christs. The Christ of the Adventist chruch was fabricated in 1844 and has been completely redefined. The Christ of the Adventist did not die on the cross for the sins of man:
“The blood of Christ, while it was to release the repentant sinner from the condemnation of the law, *was not to cancel the sin; it would stand on the record in the sanctuary until the final atonement;* so in the type the blood of the sin-offering removed the sin from the penitent. White, Ellen. “Patriarchs and Prophets” Oakland: Pacific Press Publishing Company, 1890, p. 357
When I say the Adventist is cursed, I am making reference to the Apostle Paul and Galatians:
Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. The gospel message of the Adventist chruch was likewise fabricated in 1844. I will not make this comment any longer with the detail of the Adventist gospel, but can if desired. The Adventists preach a gospel of the 3 Angels Messages that is completely different than the one true biblical gospel Christians are to proclaim (I Cor. 15:1-4). Because they preach a "different" gospel, they are twice cursed according to Galatians 1:6-9.

This REMNANT that EMERGED from Babylon the Great or spiritual “wilderness” (Revelation 12:6, 14) came to be later known as the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH (Revelation 10:1-11).

While I am terrible at explaining things as I am not a theologian, the interpretation of Revelation 14:7 is due to it being linked to the sabbath commandment.
Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Notice that out of the 10 commandments, only this commandment recognizes God's creatorship of heaven, earth and sea.

I really love listening to you speak ❤️. I actually had a similar experience, but with the evangelical Christian church .. I was taught my whole life that the commandments of God were done away with . That the church replaced Israel, which is replacement theology...Sunday keeping ,the holidays... All baptized paganism... Not to sound harsh, I love my many brothers and sisters in the faith.... But I stopped celebrating the Roman Catholic holidays and started honoring Sabbath... It's been amazing 😍, The traditions of man was what Jesus rebuked the pharisees for.... I was devastated when I found this out.... just as you were also.... I can relate. I think the most important thing is to keep growing. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater but don't get stuck on traditions of men..... Love God the way He says in His word. I now focus on some home groups, I keep Sabbath and follow the commandments as best I can. We are saved by faith and faith alone however I do desire to please the father... I read in John 14:15 Jesus said that if you love me you keep my commandments.... It's all about your motive. I want to obey and follow yeshua... I also felt my eyes were opened when I understood differently. My friends at church called me a judaizer and could not understand..... So I want to encourage you to just continue to read and learn ....our theology should develop and grow ... I ask a lot of questions... The Lord continues to guide. Another perspective to look into for study in the messianic Jewish faith. We must remember that Jesus was Jewish, so the idioms and understanding in His Word give new revelation when read through this perspective. They also, have much wisdom. I mostly listen to messianic rabbis, and a handful of preacher's from different Christian denominations ..... The Lord is purifying His bride... Stay close to Him, always pray for discernment and wisdom. Blessings ❤️

You can choose to live under and in obedience to the “obsolete” Old Testament law (Heb. 8:13), but in doing so you are under a “curse” (Gal 3:10-11). I choose not to live under the "ministry of death carved in letters of stone" (II Cor. 3:7) as you so proudly declare. Enjoy the curse of choosing to live under the ministry of death while following an obsolete covenant.

Hebrews 8:13 In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
Galatians 3:10-11 For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, "Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them." Now it is evident that no one is justified before God by the law, for "The righteous shall live by faith."

    Hi Tinoe
What a beautiful and powerful testimony my sister. 🙌🏾 Ellen White's plagiarized doctrines/biblical writings are accorded equal status to that of the Bible by the *SDAs* , as inspired. That is no different to Joseph Smith's *Latter Day Saints'* book of Mormon. The cultic Charles Taze's *Watch Towers* (with their twisted Bible) with their many failed prophecies are also a product of deception from the kingdom of darkness.
We pray for the salvation of these millions of souls.
    *Deuteronomy 18:21-22*
21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken.
There you have it!! It is conclusive proof that these three cults are false religions, not even denominations!! It takes the Spirit of God to convict them of the lies they have fed at these cults. Ours is to pray for them to receive God's mercy and revelation of the truth.
    *1 Timothy 2:12*
12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man;[b] she must be quiet.
Why did Ellen White overlook this clear biblical instruction? That in itself was a doctrinal red flag to Seventh Day Adventism.

Being an SDA, an evangelical, a nondenominational, a Catholic, a Presbyterian, etc., will never save you or anyone. Because of the precious blood of Jesus, we are only saved by grace through faith. It is only our relationship with Jesus, as evidenced by the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives, that we are saved.

Truth does not exist in every church. The Adventists and others teach a Jesus not found in the bible:
      DIFFERENT JESUS, ARCHANGEL JESUS
*Christian Science:* Jesus is the “Way-shower” who shows us that Christ Conscientious indwells everyone. Jesus is not part of the Triune God head and all is mya or illusion.
*Adventism:* Jesus is known as Michael the Arch Angel and he has a silver trumpet. Jesus did not die on the cross for sins, but departed heaven in 1844 and went to the Sanctuary and began a work of judging believers. Those who worship on Sunday receive the Mark of the Beast. They are the “remnant” church and therefore the only true church.
*Jehovah Witness:* Jesus is not God, but a created being (Michael the Arch Angel). He is known as “a god.” He did not die on a cross, he died on a torture stake.
*Mormonism:* Jesus is the Spirit brother of Lucifer and not God. Jesus was born when Elohim (the god of this plant) came down and had sex with Mary. There is no Trinity and Elohim is god.
*Islam:* Jesus was a prophet similar to all past prophets. He is not God and there is no Trinity. Confessing believe that Jesus is God is to make “partners with God” and it is the unforgivable sin.
2 Corinthians 11:3-4 ESV (3) But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ. (4) For if someone comes and proclaims another Jesus than the one we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it readily enough.

It's so ironic that the Holy Spirit brought you to me this day!!!!
Although I'm no prophet, this verse has been ringing in my head for days! And I believe, after hearing your testimony, I know why!
Exchange the word witness/disciple for the word prophet in that verse.
Now, think about the overall reactions that you've experienced. From those who you thought loved and respected you. Surprising? Disappointing? Hurtful?
Yet talk to a total stranger, someone who's never known you, and the reaction is completely different!
Because regardless of whether they accept what you share with them, or don't, they won't SHAME you or RECOIL from you as though you're a leper!
Or judge you as though you've offended or attacked them!
    And therein lies the difference.
I'm feeling the same thing right now.
My family all think I'm crazy since Jesus called me out of my (many) other delusions and dove straight, and exclusively, into His Word.
My life hasn't been the same since.
All I hear now is how "smart" I am (usually they say "used to be").
How could I "fall for such fables" as creation or the flood or the resurrection?
How I'm "wasting" my "talents" in my (albeit painstaking but most worthwhile!) pursuit to serve God.
Nobody wants to hear me talk about God, my testimony or the Bible!
Or, incidentally and mathematically😉, how, statistically speaking, it simply IS the true, accurate, whole and preserved Word of God!
    Period!
(I was a math, data and computer guru in my former life - now trying to figure out HOW to maybe use my God-given brain, education and skills to serve and glorify Him.)
Anyway, today was a very bad day. I really needed to hear this message from a perspective such as you've described.
Because it tells me that I'm not alone, it's gonna be hard, fellowship (outside of the familiar) is critical, and most of, to stop feeling sorry for myself!
    So thank you!
    You've got a new subscriber.
Oh, and though I'm not an Adventist, I have been listening to a lot of Walter Veith, who's got some great stuff.
But the whole of Adventism isn't the answer.
So thank you on 2 counts and God bless!
