  • In this video I discuss how the Qur'an was protected by Divine Intervention. Did Allah just reveal the Book and simply leave it in the hands of the people? Or was there more to this? Let's see what the Book of Allah has to say about it.

We are not rejecting the hadith and sunnah of Allah which we find throughout the Qur'an. But rather, the hadith and sunnah of what scholars / forefathers have attributed to the Messenger Muhammad (a.s).

Since I learned about the first compilation of ahadeeth in writing, some question in my mind kept troubling me. The classical scholars raised the status of ahadeeth on par with the Quran. And in some cases added punishment that are not in the Quran.
The question is, if the ahadith are so important as if it were a second divine revelation, why then the four rightly guided caliphs did not compiled it in writing similar to the compilation of the Quran?
Some of the answers given is that the ahadith were written during the time of the companion. Is that true?
But the question still remain where are the ahadith compiled in writing by any of the four rightly guided caliphs.

Thank you for your comments brother and may Allah bless you.
According to a well known Muhaddith and Historian named Imam Dhahabi, Abu Bakr had his own collection of hadiths that he learned from the prophet. However, his heart was at unease and decided to burn them. Umar ibn Al-khattab also had a collection which he also destroyed. Infact, Umar even threatened the people that if they had any written hadiths that they should destroy them.
They say they were books of hadiths compiled by other companions but none of them have survived (what a surprise!). The oldest book of hadith that has survived is the Sahifa of Hammam ibn Munabbih but it is argued that it is not the original manuscript.
As you said, if the hadiths of the prophet were so important and on par with the Qur'an, then why didn't the 4 caliphs compile hadith books as they did with the Qur'an?
Ofcourse, the so-called scholars try to give their reasons but I don't buy it for a second. The hadith collections are really no different to the Talmud of the Jewish tradition and does nothing except divert the people away from the Qur'an. I say this was one of the greatest tricks that Shaytan has ever pulled!
I simply look at the hadiths as merely historical information - contradictory historical inormation to be precise! I DO NOT take them as Revelation (wahi), nor as a source of guidance, nor authoritative, and certainly not as legislation. The ONLY source of wahi, guidance, authority, and legislation is the Qur'an. And I prove this in my videos.

Zaid ibn That it was ONE of the scribes who accompanied the prophet Muhammad peace be unto him. He wrote down the recitation of the Quran
and recited it back to the prophet Muhammad peace be unto him .
However, it was never intended that the Quran be a book for preservation. Allah
kept the Quran preserved in the hearts of men as a recitation. This was a unique way of preserving a book especially if the Muslims were scattered from Spain to China. No one group was able to distort - insert or retract.
Jesus peace be unto him called the Scriptures the Law and the Prophets.
Not the Talmud which is speculation ,
philosophy and kalam .The Prophets were sent after Moses peace be unto him to explain the Torah. Since all Prophets have the same methodology,
the Scriptures of the Muslims is the Quran and its explanation, the Hadiths.
This prevents the Muslims from being lead astray with kalam like the Christians- The kalam of Paul.

      Salaam,
      You said:
""However, it was never intended that the Quran be a book for preservation. Allah kept the Quran preserved in the hearts of men as a recitation""
Why would God call the Qur'an a BOOK (Kitab, Kitabun Mubeen, Kitabil Hakeem, etc) and not intend for it to be a BOOK?? Do you hear what your saying?? That's like saying:
The Quran is GUIDANCE (al-huda) but was never intended to be GUIDANCE (al-huda).
      Or
The Quran is CLEAR PROOF (bayyinaatin) but was never intended to be CLEAR PROOF (bayyinaatin).
Yes, Allah preserved the Qur'an in the hearts of men (29:49) but He also caused to inherit THE BOOK to those who He chose of His servants (35:32). Why would Allah say THE BOOK when it was never intended to be a Book??
For the love of God please READ the Qur'an and stop obsessing over your Ulema and Sheikhs. They will only lead you astray my friend!

      Salaam,
The problem is that the meanings of the Qur'an have been distorted by these 'hadiths' my friend. These hadiths were made up by men who claim that it explains the Qur'an. The Qur'an explains and clarifies ITSELF! And this is what I try to explain to my viewers.
It's similar to the doctrine of the 'Trinity' where it was forced into the New Testament by the church fathers. That's why you have 'Unitarian' Christians who do not believe in the Trinity.

    The nonsense of Islam
When the Jews said, Abraham was a Jew, and we are of his religion, - and the Christians said the like, the following was revealed; - O people of the Scripture, wherefore do ye argue respecting Abraham, asserting that he was of your religion. when the Pentateuch and the Gospel were not sent down but after after him a long time? Do ye not then understand the falsity of your saying? So ye, O people, have argued respecting that of which ye have knowledge, concerning Moses and Jesus, and have asserted that ye are of their religion; then wherefore do ye argue respecting that of which ye have no knowledge, concerning Abraham? But God knoweth his case, and ye know it not. Abraham was not a Jew nor a Christian; but he was orthodox, a Moslem or one resigned, a unitarian, and he was not of the polytheists."
    Sura 3
Mohammed wrote the Koran about 2000 years after Abraham had died. He didn't understand the "falsity" of what he was writing!

Wow! And what proof do you have of this 'copying'?? The Qur'an says in several passages that IT is a confirmation of previous Scriptures that were given to Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and the prophets.

Are you REALLY serious? I mean, really TRULY serious? I've just recently, (2 weeks ago) bought a copy of the Koran from a 2nd hand bookshop. I read it through, every word, to see what all the fuss was about with Islam.
It didn't take long, as it's only 230 pages. It read like something out of Arabian Nights, heavily based on stories stolen by Mohammed (or whoever wrote it - all his cronies?, seeing he himself was illiterate as the Koran itself testifies, (Sura 7) from the Bible, but twisted & distorted, & mixed up, so that it reads like a quasi spiritual blended vegetable soup, with Biblical names thrown in haphazardly, & quasi religious platitudes thrown into the chaos. eg. "surely He is Wise, Knowing." Sura 15. "Surely, thy Lord is quick in respect of the consequences, and surely He is indeed Forgiving, Merciful." Sura 6. Ha. Try telling THAT to Salman Rushdie! As for the Koran itself, it has Suras, yes, but no verses, & the Suras are not in numerical order, like most intelligent books are organised, but all over the place. Is this the Arabic mentality I wonder? My comments are all my own. I make my "falsehood" as you put it, myself. Except copies of Hadiths. I'm not interested in those, since they are written by Arabs, who allegedly knew Mohammed. I'm only interested in The Word of God, aka The Bible. But what a CHEEK! This Arab camel trader from the 7th Century rewrites all the stories from the Bible, & then has the cheek to claim that his are the original versions! OK, Mohammed, I'm going to make a copy of the Mona Lisa, & claim that my copy is the original Leonardo da Vinci. Do you think anyone will believe me? Except for a mass of gullible Arabs of course, Peace be upon them. (I have to say that, don't I?, otherwise the wrath of Allah (A-liar?) will crash down on my head. (Although he is allegedly "Forgiving. Merciful.") I could go on. And I will, but later.I have many more excerpts from the Koran to copy out, & to show you ignorant Arabs where Mohammed got all his ideas from in the Bible. It will take some time. But I enjoy it. Again, I reiterate, this is all my own work. I don't have any "Anti-Islam sources". The Koran being, needless to say, Anti-Christian. As are your teachers; Zakir Naik, Shabir Ally & Ahmed Deedat. Peace be upon them. I will say, finally, that nowhere in the Bible is there anything anti-Islamic, nor are there any Christian Churches or Cathedrals with Anti-Islamic texts on its walls. Unlike Muslims, who inscribe Anti-Christian texts on their mosques.
"The Qur'an says in several passages that IT is a confirmation of previous Scriptures that were given to Jesus, Moses, Abraham, and the prophets."
Who cares what the Koran says? A "confirmation" you say? Why on earth does the Bible need "confirming"?
It is the Word of God. That is confirmation enough, isn't it? We don't need any 7th Century illiterate pedophile camel trader to tell us otherwise. Peace be upon him.
"We sent down the Pentateuch to Moses". We gave David the Psalms" Oh did you? What a cheek!
How can you possibly believe all that garbage & lies?
I've got to go now. I've got a lot of Koran to read. Wish me luck. (I may go bonkers). Peace be upon me.
