    law students also forgot to mention that like medicine, learning doesn't stop in law school, for every complex or even easy cases, there is still something to learn because different situations results to different solutions that never been thought to law school it's like you're on your own when you're finally become a lawyer and take note, a lawyer does doctorate degrees as well to become a judge or justice, it's like finding a needle in a haystack, meanwhile the same goes for med students

      @@jadadanos289 Although it's true that both profession are among the highest paid jobs here in PH, it should not be your basis in entering law school. The profession itself is noble and it should not be your priority kasi baka mag quit kalang along the way because it is really difficult. Sabi nga ng prof ko na judge it's not a money making profession so better off mag med ka nalang.

    Law school students like to delude themselves with the fantasy that they're "lateral thinkers" whilst medical students are more "science focussed".
    The reality here in the UK is that even if you're incredibly stupid, you'll find some university that allows you to pursue a law degree.
    Prospective medical students must sit the UCAT, an examination so shockingly difficult that even university med students say it's the toughest exam they ever sat.
    Bottom line, you will never get into medical school because you "really want to be a doctor". All doors are closed without A*A A (at the very least) plus a minimum of 2800 in the UCAT, followed by an interview that would make The Terminator lose his shit.
    Any idiot can get acceptance to a law school.
    Recent stat: Glasgow University acceptance rate for Law - 51%.
    National average acceptance rate for Medicine - bearing in mind that only UCAT candidates (ie: the finest minds in the UK will even attempt it) - is 17%.
    Medicine is far, far harder to get into.

    • @emma00881
      @emma00881 Před rokem

      Medicine is defo harder but i think you undermine how hard it actually is to get into law the minimum is normally A*AA - AAA in the uk, contextual offera are given only for students that apply to factors such as (living in deprived areas, were in care by local government ir went to an underfunded low performance school)

    • @billparrish9200
      @billparrish9200 Před rokem +1

      @@emma00881 Maybe it's AAA for Oxbridge, but I've just run a search, and some places are fine with AAB, and for the lesser institutions, ABB. And these are not contextual offers either. These are actual admission requirements alone. That wouldn't get you a job mowing grass at a UK Med school.

      Chill. These students were from the philippines, not UK. Youre simply rude at this point. Were you the stupid one who entered law school in UK? I didnt know someone can this be close minded.

    Depende seguro yan sa Law school at med school at may mga doktor na nag try pero di maka pasa sa UP LAE. Di rin madali maka pasok sa UP Med unless anak ka ng dios o nasa regionalization program ka. Naipasa ni Dr. Lapides na NLE at PLE top 1 (beating Tiffany Uy na UP Diliman SCL and valedictorian and UPCM MCL and valedictorian) yung UP LAE 2012 bago mag UP Med.

      4hrs sa med school is luxury. Given na walang working students kasi required na full time na students ka lang sa dami ng aaralin.
