im new to 90s hip hop (im a late 2000s kid but i have a varied taste in music) so i'm really interested in finding more like this ! what albums/songs would you recommend from the Beastie Boys ?
@@weezarddd__ Paul's Boutique is absolutely goated. One of those albums you could listen to start to finish and not wanna skip a single song. Same goes for Hello Nasty, another absolutely legendary album. Hard to pick my favorite between the two of them, but they're definitely my favorites out of their works. Even then, pretty much all of their stuff is worth listening to.
For Tribe I really can't recommend The Anthology "best of" type album that has a TON of amazing songs that you'll totally love if you're into the old 90s stuff. They kind of pioneered the jazzy low-fi sound for hip hop as far as I know and it's just flawless.
Last week we were driving back from school with my 11yo daughter and suddenly she says "Dad can I connect to the car BT to play some music on Spotify?". Im like "sure no prob". Then this song starts to sound and I *IMMEDIATELY* went on headbanging mode and thinking "wtf this tune is sick!!!". I say to her "i don't recognize this song, is from like 90s right? (Im 43). She replies me with a "doh" expression on her face: "Dad cmon, its from this very year". Thank you guys, now I can share this music with my lovely daughter. KEEP DOING THIS AMAZING MUSIC!!!
