- Last weekend, Jenna raced the inaugural Ironman 70.3 Oregon in Salem, aiming to qualify for Ironman 70.3 World Champs in September. It was a stacked field and a fast course, with a downstream swim, flat bike, and gravel-filled run. Jenna's goal was to push the swim and the bike to her ability, and save her legs on the run for USA Triathlon Age-Group Nationals next week in Milwaukee.

I did the bike part on a Relay team in Salem and your time is awesome. The course was not flat like they said it was. Flat is was the Challenge Miami with 50 feet of elevation for the 56 miles... congrats for qualifying for the World's.

Did you need the wetsuit?
If you don’t have one, you should be ok-water temp is cool, but the swim is super fast and weather is typically warm. I wore one because I had it and it’s faster!
you went to qualify for the worlds but left early and risked not getting a spot?
