Good to see you back at it and nice review, +1 for a true stainless version I’d pick one up in an instant with that action

A knife review without a review on how it cuts. Would have been nice to see the edge at work 👍

I received mine a few days ago but certainly doesn't have the action that yours does mine seems to be quite stiff to open

    How strong is the backspring,?

Pretty weak if like me you prefer a very strong back spring you might not like it, that's the trade off with making it easily one hand opening, but having said that it's impossible to close on you with the finger choil. Personally I like the knife but I'm far more old school in the sense that I'd much rather have a very stiff back spring and just open and close it two handed instead of have a weak back spring just so it can be opened and closed one handed. I still carry and use it though, I'm also not a huge fan of d2 personally because it's quite brittle and I like my knives to be very tough for hard use, I'm sure I will snap the tip off it at some point under hard use. But for 60 quid it's a good value for money knife and they offer a jade g10 version which is perfect if you want to dye the scales your favourite colour which is very easy to do.
