- Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and Louisville Metro Police Department Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel provided an update on the investigation involving the arrest of golfer Scottie Scheffler. The Masters champion is accused of assaulting an officer while entering the PGA Championship. Scheffler's attorney said the golfer "never at any point assaulted any officer with his vehicle."

Imagine being a cop and being able to get away with lying
Imagine not trying to let the world number one into the facility and then arresting him. Give those cops more training
That made me begin by saying transparency is extremely important to all involved. One minute later: we will not be releasing any additional video until the conclusion of the trial.
This case is as dead as fried chicken. Drop the charges and end this.
Man Louisville is a clown festival
Transparency. Where?
They need to admit they messed up and drop charges
The policeman dragged himself from a car? Yall wild.
@@DSuperman25 I don't see any dragging ..nor do I see any injuries. The cop is running and punching the car. But I know what would clear this right up..the body cam video.
@@BB-nw3mj There is more footage (of which the mayor says they won’t release at this time) and they also have eye witnesses who described it. You also have the officer who was sent off to the hospital with a variety of bruises. There’s a reason this is the video they’re releasing. It obstructs the most important part
@@DSuperman25 snore...will be dropped or thrown out.
Did the cop place a bet on this tournament?
Cop looks bad in this one. Easy to see. His Ego got the best of him
IMAGINE A CAMERA RECORDING SCOTTIE DRAGGING THE COP.. 😂😂
Did Scheffler drive around the line of vehicles waiting to get in?
If he was black he would've been shot through the windshield immediately. Then police would've said he drove towards the officer.
I hope Scotty takes them to court and embarrass them. What a joke!
Vehicle is stopped and We don't see any police being drugged on the road and this is only video he was pulled out of the vehicle. IN SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER LOOKS LIKE A COURT HAS TO DISMISSAL OF ALL CHARGES.
Hopefully Scottie gets his lost winnings back through a lawsuit against these liars.
Shelbyville!!!!!
What an awkward little fellow, Mr. Mayor, you're like Biden, straight up fumbling, awkward, dare I say, sketchy
Mayor said the phrase "move forward" about 20 times. Nah.... we need to sit in this and hold people (Scotty) accountable.
Accountable for what?
@@liammunzenmaier9171 Among the charges is a felony assaulting an officer charge. Most likely in the area that a bus is conveniently obstructing where the incident occurred.
@@DSuperman25 it would be convenient if we had police officers wear body cameras to avoid any questions of what actually happened.
Come back to post when your eyesight is restored.
@liammunzenmaier9171
Your wasting your breath! He thinks all his buttfriends arrests are legit!🤣🤣🤣
Dog and pony show
What about the Man that was killed
What have you done for him?
Your meaning. Who cares about the person that was killed. I don't care about the golfer.
Let's show some respect for the family.
What more are you wanting them to do/say for the guy that passed? They expressed condolences, said it was tragic. Scotty said that the day he was arrested after his round several times on his own, and the mayor and LMPD did here also. There's nothing developing there it's a done and closed sad story so everyone besides the guys loved ones have moved on to what's unresolved.
Scheffler's situation is wrong and unresolved so that paired with his high profile has everyone wanting to see it get resolved the right way. According to Google nearly 7k pedestrians die in the US annually, meaning that nearly 50k pedestrians have died since the last number one golfer in the world was arrested, and he was arrested for the reason most high profile people are. Scotty's arrest was anything but ordinary and it was unwarranted unless LMPD has some major proof they can provide which I highly doubt. So it can't be surprising we are offering condolences and then moving on to the other situation that's 1 extremely rare, 2, not resolved, and 3 not depressing. Point 3 being important because there's not really anything we can learn or do about what happened to the guy that passed, so we don't dwell on it unless you're a grieving friend or loved one, which the average American is not to that poor guy.
What about us that don't care about neither
@@jacksaloman9513 don't click and watch/waste your time?
Scottie is going down. He better get his wife and kid and flee the country asap.
Break the law, pay the consequences.
Watch the video Beth
Beth must be all about that thin blue line
The officer did break the law, but there’s zero chance of consequences for him.
@liammunzenmaier9171 It should have been obvious that something serious had happened because of the lights, ambulances, police cars etc.. If LE says you must stop and you do not, then you are wrong.
@@beth952 he was told to drive forward by other officers directing traffic. This one officer decided he wanted to flex his authority and ripped his pants in the process.
