I hadn't even seen the officer's car in the wide open median because I was just chilling in the car singing to the radio, but I slowed down and pulled to the slow side as soon as I saw him, and waited for him to catch up to me. LOL Only took him about 30 seconds to get a red S-10 going about 100, thinking the cop was busy.

Two: Decomposing flesh results in large numbers of maggots, and maggots are highly attractive food for many birds.

The couple in the protective order are completely delusional and unhinged. It appears to me that they are upset because they didn’t want the fence on the property line or on their property, so the lady asking for the order and her husband moved it six to twelve inches away from the property line, on their own side to satisfy the request. However, this enraged the neighbor couple because it leaves a “ditch” between the fence and the retaining wall on the property line and they complain that it’s unsafe. What did they expect? You can’t have it both ways. The lady asking for the order was in a catch 22 and couldn’t make the couple happy, no matter what they did. As far as the property complaint, it sounds as if the couple is angry because they are unable to access the garage via their neighbors property, which they have no right to. The fence obstructs the couple’s ability to use property not belonging to them and that’s not illegal. They have access to the garage, just not in the way they would like. These two are insufferable and the plaintiffs are best served by never interacting with them unless and until they are in court. Make them pay the money to hire a lawyer. They don’t understand that they are not going to get their way on this one.

I bought a flipped house. I went to my neighbors to introduce myself. Later I also talked about property lines because I was going to buy a shed. None of my neighbors knew the lines. I got a surveyor who got the deed from the township and put in the metal posts so I could find them later. My neighbor to the west has a huge privacy fence. Found out the fence is on my property 🤦🏻♀️. They are in their late 70’s. I’m not going to make them move their fence. If they sell their home I might bring that up with the township
You might check with a lawyer to see if you should speak up to protect your rights now. Doesn't have to be unfriendly. You could maybe make arrangements so the fence could stay 'til they move on.

Realtors don't have to move fences, the owner of the fence does, if warranted, as far as I know. Possible they noticed the surveyors, they may be anticipating contact, get advice from someone local. The judge kept saying they could go to jail if they failed to follow the order. It sounded to me like the judge knew they were going to continue this behavior and she didn’t want them to go to jail. IMO that’s total crap. She would rather the Hendersons continue to live with this nonsense instead of making this couple understand they cant harass their neighbors.

I bought a flipped house. I went to my neighbors to introduce myself. Later I also talked about property lines because I was going to buy a shed. None of my neighbors knew the lines. I got a surveyor who got the deed from the township and put in the metal posts so I could find them later. My neighbor to the west has a huge privacy fence. Found out the fence is on my property 🤦🏻♀️. They are in their late 70’s. I’m not going to make them move their fence. If they sell their home I might bring that up with the township
You’re a good neighbor. It’s not about feet and inches. It’s about peaceful co-existence.
You might check with a lawyer to see if you should speak up to protect your rights now. Doesn't have to be unfriendly. You could maybe make arrangements so the fence could stay 'til they move on.
@@jonathanreedpike hmm that might be a good idea. That way when they try to sell their house the realtor has to move it off my property, correct? I know it’s “feet” but I’m paying taxes on property I’m not able to use. The neighbors are very elderly so I really don’t want to be obnoxious.
@@isabellflorence4956 Again, not a lawyer, but a lawyer could give you advice because this is , from what I understand, best dealt with promptly, not after they move on.
Realtors don't have to move fences, the owner of the fence does, if warranted, as far as I know.
Possible they noticed the surveyors, they may be anticipating contact, get advice from someone local.

Each one wants to get their oar in the water first even if it sinks the ship. She complains that the couple talks over everyone; so does she. This woman says she knows this court doesn't have the power but she wants to waste time talking about it anyway. All of you just need to go ahead with a lawsuit and get this settled. She always needs to say "just one more thing". Three very hard headed people.
And this is why HOAs exist.
A lot of people like complaining about HOAs ignoring the fact that the board is literally their neighbors and every homeowner can be on the board.
What they are for is two things... ensuring a minimum expectation of home maintenance and being the mediator when two homeowners want to argue.
Imagine having to enforce that stuff without getting paid to do it.
