  • In this series on Strabismus to Stereopsis I am going to be sharing my favorite vision therapy exercises that have made an impact on my success in vision therapy.
These are the more complex ones that helped me get over the hurtle of monocular vision.
Be sure to suggest any that might work well for you to your optometrist to see if it could be a good fit for your diagnosis.

Hello thanks for the video. I only see X when the bead is really close to my nose. a little far, X distorts. So how do i make improvements so that X continues as beads go more far? just keep practicing looking at the X when its close? and slowly it will improve little by little?

That's how many people do it. It is a difficult exercise. There are other exercises that are easier that could help you build up to that point. Have you been to vision therapy? You can find an office at strabismussolutions.com/findvt/

do you wear glasses for the brock string or best not to? how long would you advise to do it daily?

I definitely would use glasses, but if they are just prism you could work towards not needing the extra help of the prism.

Hello I just had surgery in earlier this year to correct my eyes but I feel one eye is moving back over. Should I use Brock string?

That completely depends on your diagnosis. I would try vision therapy, go to strabismussolutions.com/consult/ or strabismussolutions.com/findvt/ and I can help you get started.
